Orion blinked. "What?" He said. "Am I missing something?" He turned to Kara. "I'm pretty sure that was in my training but then again all I know is basically nothing."

Kara eyed the shard suspiciously wondering how such a long inscription could fit on a shard. She shrugged. "Beats me."

Scias
"..Man, this is just getting weirder and weirder by the second.."
Scias rubbed the back of his head, trying to make sense of it all.

X scoffed with a bit of a amusement. "Take it this is what we're after though.. If it's all in pieces, then that's a bit of a time investment to go hunt the rest down off riddles.. Really got our work cut out for us this time. Typical."

"Kinda like someone hid it intentionally.. Something as simple as this too would be right out of people's sight."

"Now you're gettin' it. The question is just why. With all the legends over this whole thing.. You'd think there'd be more security invested into protecting the damn thing..
Almost like this planet's takin' a page from the Io here on screwing up the safety of the entire universe."

"It doesn't have to make sense, it just has to be real. Maybe everything is not as strange as it seems. If you think about it, it kinda makes sense. The old man must have recognized the shard and sent his parrot to snatch it before the Heldrons could, then he ran to get help at which point we played into the story."

Zeth took the shard in her hands, eyeing it with a glint of wonder. If this wasn't some kind of an elaborate joke, then that meant that all her faith hadn't gone to waste It made her smile ever so slightly to think that she might finally get to do something worth while rather than continuing on as some nobody.

" I guess it worked out though, because now theres hope. This really could be it ya know, the thing that saves the universe. I personally think we should start searching as soon as possible for the other shards. The longer we wait, the more planets and people are decimated."

Traqil
Health- 150/200

"I'm with Zeth. The less time we spend here the better. Not to mention these bodies will start to stink sooner or later."

Traqil carefully observed each of the party members, taking note of all the new marks and wounds that had been made since the battle. He had a ship with a med kit if there was need for it, but decided not to mention it as of yet. He assumed most of the others had some sort of ship or something on which they arrived to this planet.

"Well, I suppose we need a plan of action. I'd say we have three options. One, go our separate ways and forget about this mess. Two, we give the shard to someone else to handle. Or maybe three, the option that involves us all working together to figure out just how real this all is. I personally am for the third and will go with this option regardless of what you all choose." Traqil stood, patiently awaiting a reply.

"Well, we got our orders, wild goose chase or not. We're with you all." X gave a smile to Traquil, brushing a few twigs and leaves off the top of his kitty head. "With how much you two got thrown around, you'll probably need our help anyways."

"..For better or worse." Scias shook his head. "Not like we have much else to do around here.. I don't know about playing into this so-called prophecy since we we're just here to find it.. But whatever happens, I guess."

Orion grinned. "Well if Cillian's going, I'm up for it too. Beats walking around wondering if the floor is real." He frowned at Tessa. "Why wouldn't you come on a wild goose chase?" He asked. "I mean you get to do it with this reincarnating person who the universe refuses to let sleep." He said nodding toward Cillian. "Besides," he added in a more serious note, "It does beat waiting around wondering if today's the day I'm going to get decimated."

Kara frowned. "I'm fine with going, much rather do something then nothing like Scias said. However," She said squinting at the crystal. "How can we even believe that crystal is real. You seem to believe in it a lot, it could just be an illusion." She didn't really want to crush Zeth's hopes but that was better than going through the entire thing just to realize it was a trick.

"I cannot promise that this is going to be worth while, nor can I promise we will all come back from this. What I can promise is that I will do my best to guarantee the safety of any that should trek with me and Zeth. I have a ship somewhat nearby. There is food, bed and medical supplies for any who need it. If any of you intend on coming along on my ship, I will be willing to pay you for any assistance you offer. Thats my standing offer. If you have your own ship or another form of transportation, then we'll have to figure out a good way to stay in touch."

"Well, considering your my brother, looks like I am stuck with you. Personally I could care less what these idiots do." She remarked, particularly eyeing Scias as if he was the only one she was referring too, but whose to say for sure?
"I have an idea of where the shard could be. Souther vulture and gemstone culture are both symbolic, but I'll get into that once we hit the road. I'm not doing too well, so I'd better get to the ship."

"Pay? Heh, all you had to say. Don't worry about our ship. Got an autonav system on it that'll return it right back to Proxima for us. Know a thing or two about starships so if you need an engineer.."

Scias didn't particularly care for Zeth's side eyeing, but kept his tongue.
"If we're such idiots, then why are you asking for our help? Open invite or not, think you'd be a little bit more grateful to people helping you out."
