bliss laughs, a crazy maniacal thing that sends shudders up my spine. "there's nothing high and mighty about us. you want to see what happens when you misbehave? i can show you" she says, and though she's facing cara her eyes find mine from over cara's shoulder, boring into my soul, imploring me to take her offer.

I shudder at Bliss's laugh, how could anyone laugh like that (I say even though my laugh sounds like Bliss's)

maple looks at her and takes a water stream and sends it into blisses head making her slam her head on the wood of the trunk making it shake, maple was satisfied knowing it wasn't gonna feel good in a little bit "no ones punishing anyone we arn't your slaves" she hissed at her

I facepalm, heart beginning to race again. Maple, could you be a little less reckless right now? Not all of us have as much bravado as you do, not to mention power stability!

bliss rises to her feet, touching her head where she's bleeding. she seems surprised to find she's injured, almost like she can't feel it. she glares at us, and for a second nothing happens. then a wave of pain crashes over me, and probably the others too, based on the fact we're all doubled over in pain.

my vision distorts and i look at her, finding her smiling over us. her pupils are splitting in two, forming another whole pupil so each eye has two fully formed pupils and irises, which seem to glow unnaturally. bliss seems taller than a second ago, towering over us like a god, grinning that off-putting, terrifying grin. in a second everything's back to normal; one pupil and iris per eye, she's the same size, and i don't hurt anymore. everyone looks around confused, and i fight the urge to puke.

confused i try to process what just happend as i get up off the ground......

I double over, groaning in pain.
