I forgot not everyone celebrates the same holidays oops o.o
my mom makes my grandma's recipe and it's really good. sometime she adds breadcrumbs or bacon on top but we usually just have it plain.

yep, just a nice blotch of teal on the pocket. a true fashion statement if you ask me

I got to try one once, at the end of a playing test we had to do. I just kinda messed around with it, I was only in fourth grade at the time so I wasn't a very experience flute player. I remember not learning the notes until 10 minutes before the concert would start and then getting compliments on my playing.

I'm planning on writing a story about an OC I made in my head last night. I probably won't get to it for a week or two though just because I love to procrastinate. other than that OC I haven't made or thought about my others in a long time :/

third place is pretty good unless there's only three people competing.

I could but I like tighter jeans so I'd have to search for skinny jeans that probably wouldn't fit too well. men's shirts are nice though, I steal my dad's all the time to sleep in because they're so big so I don't have to wear shorts or pants to bed and I can just walk around in a shirt.
ah, well, if it looks nice it looks nice. if buying something makes you happy then there's no need to feel guilty or associate negative feelings to the item for buying it. you can always earn money back
the last thing I spent money on was probably some candy at the gas station or some type of junk food at the store.

X3 it's okay, don't worry about it
Ooh bacon -w- that sounds really good

Oh of course. It's gonna be the new style, I'm telling you. 10/10

X3 elementary school was a wonderful time....

I have mental role plays with my OCs. It's madness and they usually die a lot X3 in the story, tho, I cut out a lot of the deaths that were originally there... A couple weeks? I've delayed mine for 7 years. Only started writing it last week :3

I got fourth place in a competition of four people and seventh in a competition of seven 0-o but the seven-people one was combined guys and girls, and the places only counted my gender, so since people of the opposite gender were still behind me I don't consider it a complete loss....
There were more than three in the science fair, I'm happy to say :D I'm terrible at science, so I'm pretty proud
(also I just checked and it was actually second... *knob* my brain lately... dang....)

oh... so girls go to bed bottomless and boys go to bed topless, confirmed u///u
Yeah... I try to buy either really inexpensive games or one at a reduced price...
Candy's good stuff, m8. I eat it right before bed if I want to draw, keeps me up just long enough to get a majority of what I want to make on paper. Healthy stuff raises health points, junk food raises happiness points

I have a cousin who puts ketchup in his mac and cheese and it disgusts me but I tried it one year and it wasn't good by any means but it wasn't like "I'm going to throw up" bad? I think it's an acquired taste that I will not be trying to get.
wow this has nothing to do with bacon at all..

I hope so, I'll finally have a use for the sweatshirt. I also think we should bring tall patterned socks that you wear skiing into style because my feet are always cold and I would like to not look awkward as I walk around with my big socks on
or those really crazily patterned socks you;d wear at a lake house at the end of the summer on a foggy morning. those mornings are the best and you should experience one at least once or twice in your life because it changes everything ^-^

It truly was. except for the time I didn't do my homework for a full quarter in fourh grade but we don't talka bout that because I got to go in my vice principal's convertible in second grade and he drove me and few others to Dunkin Donuts.
or that one time my social studies teacher told me there was no way I could write a historically accurate short story in a night and I took home multiple textbooks and stayed up all night to prove him wrong. he printed my writing and posted it up around the school, most embarrassing moment of my life but I got extra credit..

I'm awful at science too don't worry T-T
I hate all science except marine biology because I really like the ocean (except swimming in it, I hate swimming in oceans, lakes, rivers, ponds, anything that isn't a clear pool where I can see the bottom and with unpredictable currents.)
Second place is even better :D

always. It's just more comfortable for me personally; I have friends who refuse to sleep without a set of pajamas on and I just kinda throw off whatever sweatpants or shorts I was wearing and get into bed. Can confirm for the boys too because once I slept over at my cousins house and her two brothers and dad kinda just walked around shirtless. It wasn't weird though because.. I mean they're family and they come swim in our pool all the time so..
I have three bags of candy in my nightstand drawer (M&Ms, Twizzlers, and sour jelly beans) and just because I'm not exerting much energy and I don't walk around my school all day I let myself have a serving size of whatever my choice of candy is for the day. It works wonderfully after writing a debate paper or essay because I can eat it and then take a small cat nap in my bed while listening to music.
I don't think I've ever gotten a sugar high, or energy from candy, it's really weird because people always talk about getting so much energy form candy but it makes me sleepy?
0.0 yes but healthy junk food, that's the good stuff. healthy food is also really good, in the summer I survive off melons, fruits and veggies, and whatever gets grilled that night; sometimes my dad will make teppanyaki on the outside griddle and we'll eat it by the fire pit after having a pool day.

X3 I mean, so is dark chocolate

My feet are always cold, too... but I just let them get colder cuz then they get numb and they don't feel cold anymore :D But I mean I'm not against feeling my feet again
Wow... can't say I even know what those are X3 I'll have to look for some sometime

I didn't do my homework up to the second grade, most of the way through the year... still got good grades. My dad did the same in high school XD That was back when I lived with him, and though he definitely helped with learning, he did NOT offer any motivation to do schoolwork... so I often just didn't. I was very close with the administration, only got in trouble once... but to be fair, those kids PROMISED not to tell I'd said the f word... only time in my life I swore on purpose, in fourth grade XD
How in the heck... XD I applaud you

I was only any good at earth science... I love learning about tectonic plates and rocks and stuff @w@ I have a rock collection... lots of quartz and rose quartz, a bit of granite, one diorite, did you know they use quartz in military watches? The rate it vibrates keeps it ticking at the closest to a second per second as a watch can get at this point :3

er...
I'm used to my sister doing that... she wears these really baggy shirts around the house and sleeps in them... I'm really glad I can't see anything when she does that... that'd be disgusting XP
I've gotten an actual sugar high once... in my cullinary arts class, few years back, my group failed to make rock candy... but any group that didn't work out could drink what was left... the over-saturated (and for us, flavored) sugar-water. What I didn't hear was that we were supposed to water it down first... I drank half of the pint before I heard that part. It was too late by then 0-o
I've had healthy junk food, it's pretty good ;w; Health AND Happiness points
I like most fruits, I haven't found a vegetable I can't stand, and I could eat an entire watermelon myself uwu rind and all. Did you know it's fine to eat watermelon rind? I like to scare my friends with that X3
What... what is tepppanyaki o-o

dark chocolate is really yummy with caramel.

I hate feeling cold. I'm under three blankets and in my heaviest sweatshirt and I'm still cold right now. maybe it's because I got up to get a very nice lunch of bananas with cinnamon and an apple.
you don't know what the socks are or the lake house mornings?

I'm not doing my homework that is due today right now and I don't plan on doing it. Motivation has eluded me since March 13th. my parents are huge on homework and getting good grades though; I remember getting a B+ last quarter and my mom telling me it wasn't a very good grade :/
I've gotten in trouble twice? Once for being accused of asking a teacher if he was homophobic, it was the boy next to me who asked, and for sitting on my friends lap because we're close and we do that all the time in school. second time was for giving my classmate a bloody nose on accident; they had to keep me in the office my whole art class because I was so worked up over getting in trouble that I couldn't breathe. I don't think I ever got anything on my permanent record though, it was all just talks and such.
it wasn't even good writing and I think I deleted it off my docs because I cringed while rereading it. to e fair I was in 6th grade and we weren't even learning about the topic I wrote the paper on

o.o wow, I remember doing a project on the tectonic plates and totally failing because I forgot to actually do the project. my uncle gave me a piece of quartz for taking photos of guests at his wedding last September. I forgot the name that was on the box it came in but it's this really pretty orange color.
the only thing I collect is bracelets from the Caribbean and key chains from places we travel to.
is your collection big?
my favorite ever science project was last year when we had to choose a topic to make a poster collage of and I chose birds. it's hanging up above my mirror right now because birds are life ^-^

my sister walks around our house with no clothes on while I have friends over all the time. i think it's a sister thing to be honest because if I know someone is around the house I'll put on clothes. same with sleeping with people who I know but i'm not extremely close with
O.O how did you survive that. i once drank koolaid with close to no water in it, so it was basically sugar with a few drops of water, and they called the nurse into the room. I got a lecture about diabetes and wasn't allowed to have anything sugary the rest of the day. they actually had someone check my lunchbox to see if I had anything with "too much sugar" in it and didn't allow me to eat a cupcake for a classmate's birthday. same nurse that wouldn't let me take my medication for cramps and headaches without my mom coming to the school and giving it to me, I cried in the bathroom that day ^_^
I like everything but the thin outermost layer of the watermelon rind. the rest is all good. I really like to make banana bread because it's not the best for you but it's yummy and is better than eating other junk foods. berries with caramel or sugar is also yummy. I like almost every fruit, I'm kinda ishy with kiwis but it's just because their flavor is really hit or miss for me, and I like tons of veggies minus a handful or so. I'm always open to try new fruits and veggies though, other things... not so much.
like hibachi but on a griddle? I don't really know but I went through this phase where I was obsessed with going to the hibachi restaurants around our area so my dad bought a griddle and learned how to make hibachi food. turns out what he was doing was called teppanyaki though

I like dark chocolate as it is, too :3

The... the socks... I know what lakehouses and mornings are so I have a pretty good guess at what lakehouse mornings are XD

I used to get my grandparents angry when I brought home a B, anymore they're happy if I do :/ I've brought home an F and I was so upset... but things came out okay-ish :/

X3 I didn't do the 300-point science fair... and my biology teacher... she just dropped the grade 0-o like hecc, how?!
Ah, citrine ^w^
Eh, it's not as big as my feather collection :T

... i... -///- can we please stop talking about girls without... yeah....
Oh geez XD I mean, I also ate dried seaweed like popcorn, so i don't think anyone was too worried... but seriously, over sugar dust??? That's ridiculous
I eat the outermost layer with the rest of the rind, so it's not so bad :/
Kiwis are one of my favorites, but if you don't really like it, I recommend you not try dragonfruit... it's like kiwi without kiwi flavor and the seeds are everywhere
Hibachi's pretty good, I like japanese food in general... and most other asian foods :3

my cousin gave me a square of dark chocolate today and I bit into it thinking it was just plain chocolate..sea salt and caramel got all over my fingers, it was such a mess >.<

o.o my question was a dumb one haha.
hmm I don't really know how to describe them.. they're usually an inch or two above ankle length and just have these crazy color schemes and mismatched patterns on them.

I had a D in math at one point of the year because I was failing all my quizzes and tests so my mom called my principal and made me sit down with him and talk about what was going on. then I have to talk with my math teacher and the creepy math teacher assistant; they placed me in a class with the creepy teacher to help me in math and I don't think I learned anything from it.
I hate getting bad grades, they make me feel like a disappointment T-T

speaking of science projects, I have like four that are "late" but I just don't want to do. we used to do one project a month, or quarter if we were lucky, and now we have one every week. it's like she expects us to have colored paper and glue at our houses
citrine is a pretty word o.o
feathers are really cool because you can find a few that all came from the same species of bird but the markings could be so subtly different; i hope that makes sense >.<

O.O sorry!
I was so mad at the nurse that I refused to go to her when I threw up at school. I texted my mom instead and went to class like normal, didn't even get picked up but my mom just told me to take whatever pills I had in my backpack and if I threw up again to call her. then the nurse got lip injections and, I feel really bad about this now, every time my friend group and I would walk past we would do fishy faces
I think it's because whenever I try it it's either really sour or super sweet? I like sour things so sometimes the sweetness throws me off. dragonfruit is so pretty but I feel like I wouldn't like it for some reason.
I'm surprised that when I went through that eating phase I didn't develop some sort of health problem, I ate so many salty noodles and meats.

I'm going to North Carolina in two weeks, or at least hoping I do, and I'm super excited because as much as I hate heat I LOVE the South because everything just smells so fresh? I don't know how to describe it but it also feels so nostalgic?? I spent quite a lot of time in the South when I was younger because a lot of my fathers family lives down there.
I just hate the fact that we have to spend the whole time at the beach because a. I don't really like wearing my bathing suit outside the comfort of my fenced in pool area and b. the ocean terrifies me
but I get to go on a road trip and I love sitting in the back of my car being smushed between suitcases and my best friend while listening to slow music at 3 a.m. ^-^

rant #2 because my math teacher hasn't assigned me any homework to complain about

yesterday was mothers day, great.
my father was going to take my sister and I out to buy a gift or at least a card for my mother but she didn't let him take us. she said she expected a mothers day card at around midnight that exact night.
I was exhausted because I usually go to bed at 11, at the latest, and I just kinda nodded and said sure. I didn't make a card and she didn't say anything.
I wasn't raised in an affectionate household, I find it hard to say common things such as "I love you", "goodnight", "be safe", etc. I tend to say modified versions of those phrases or just don't say them at all; I try to say them, I can feel them at the tip of my tongue, but they never actually get said. This also means I find it extremely difficult to say "happy mothers day" or "happy birthday" to my family.
of course, mothers day came around and I didn't say it to my mother, I stayed in my room until she came to wake us, my younger sister and I, up. she doesn't say anything and we just kinda continue the day as if it were a normal day.
my aunt came over for dinner with my little cousins and we had pizza and just kinda hung out. I spent a lot of time downstairs, much more than I usually do, and I kinda had fun? I mean I wasn't dying to go back to my room but I wasn't exactly very entertained. eventually I went back up to my room because I had just eaten three pieces of pizza and I just wasn't very happy with that.

skip to around 10:00 last night; I was getting ready to go bed, I had put down my phone and had opened my windows. I was moving my dog down towards my feet so I wouldn't roll on him while I slept and closing my eyes to pre-dream before I fell asleep. the hallway light was on but I assumed it was my father moving around. my mom opened my door and came up to my bed, you could tell she had been crying, obviously I was concerned until she started yelling at me. ya know, the standard "am I failure of a mother because you can't even say happy mothers day without prompting" and "if you guys don't need me your on your own, hope you enjoyed making me cry" etc, etc. I just kinda sit there and stare at her until she slams my door and leaves. now, I'm a pretty sensitive person so I start crying and immediately go to text the people who always comfort me. I rant to my friend, spilling all my built up emotions because hell, I can't even express happiness without feeling like it's wrong. I turn off my phone after she responds because I just want to sleep and hope my mom sleeps off whatever she was dealing with.

I wake up this morning at 5-ish because I'm too nervous to sleep anymore. once I hear her being to move around I turn off my phone and pretend to be asleep. I hear her slam my sister's door open and then mine, it's accompanied with a "get up. both of you." in a very cold? voice. I don't know but it wasn't her normal "time to get up, you're lucky I let you guys sleep in" tone.
I hear her slamming dishes as she makes herself breakfast and my sister, who is so much braver than I am went downstairs to eat, I hear my mom talking to her but I couldn't make out the words so I just kinda shrug it off. when she's in one of her moods it isn't the time to be nosy.
I hear the garage door open and assume she's going to do the barn animals but the car starts and drives away. she forgot her phone so she comes back and walks into my room and looks at me. she says to me "I'm going to work today because I don't want to be around you two. I hope you enjoy being on your own, you're on your own for dinner too. oh, and all the chores better be done or so help me god." before leaving. I text my friend again, the only logical thing to do as I'm sitting at my desk crying.

I went downstairs to eat because I'm an emotional eater, sue me, and see no list of chores anywhere. my sister tells me what my mom told her, the same thing she said to me but ruder, and I asked about chores. my mom didn't even leave a list and told us to figure it out ourselves. she basically set us up to get in trouble and to make her even more mad.

I don't even know the point of this other than to just get it out. anyways, not like these bursts of anger are new. I don't think I can remember a time in my life where I had to not tip-toe around my mom and watch what I say in fear of being yelled at or grounded. I'm happy she went to work today though, it means we can eat without having to rush in fear of her seeing us and yelling again.
I just wish my sister didn't have to go through this, I wish she could live with my aunt. at this rate the only one in my family that is going to not bottle up their emotions until they can't and have random outbursts of anger or sadness is going to be my father.

yeah, anyways sorry this is so long. I just needed to rant and get any extra tears out before my online class so nobody asks what's wrong.

The extra on your fingers is just a snack for later, it's okay... XD

Ah... I think my sister might have some....

There there ;-; I know the feeling :T but I mean, you don't need straight As to be successful, just talent and a tiny bit o' gusto... er so I've been told :/

geez, is it science or arts and crafts??? They do realize you have classes that are NOT science that also give assignments, right? ',:/

It does make sense X3 don't worry
I found one from a blue heron once... they're endangered, y'know? still have it, biggest in my collection @w@ aside from the peacock feather....

It's okay X3 just a b i t awkward
XD oh sweet nurse vengeance
it's like... okay, analogy time:
Imagine if you went to get a fizzy drink, but the syrup mix that flavors it was taken out and it just came out as fizzy water. That's like dragonfruit: it's kiwi without the kiwi
Idk, I guess I like the surprise. Spices up life a little :3
Coulda been a growth spurt, or you were using more energy then for some reason or other er sumthin :/

...How far south? I've never been too far down there :/ OH WAIT I did go to disney world and new york city :3 those were south
Disney world was really warm but the air felt, like, sticky 0-o someone said it was humidity... but it was really, REALLY warm, for it being winter :T
