Aster didn't move the slightest. She just laid there, with her head resting on her paws. There were many white hairs on her muzzle, indicating that she was a very old dog, indeed.
I tentatively reached a hand out to pet her.

Japan let out a soft sigh, letting her work out the muscles on his back. He pulled her close to him, resting his chin on her shoulder. "Leto-chan..." he murmured softly.

Aster's only reaction was a small grunt, but remained still.
(I'm basing Aster's behaviour off of my friend's very old dog named Buttercup (I call her Butt Cup))

She smiled, continuing to rub his back before moving onto his shoulders, "don't push yourself, Kiku.." she murmured in return, nuzzling his neck. She was glad he had either forgotten they were around her siblings or had gotten used to the fact affection was allowed here.

I scoot a little closer starting to get over my uncertainty and gently pet her head, still ready to jump back if she tries to bite me or something

"I'm not pushing myself, Leto-chan..." Japan said, his face slightly red from the cold.
Belarus and Ukraine had gotten out and wrapped themselves in fluffy towels, while Russia seemed to enjoy sitting in the snow in the nude until Ukraine made him cover himself with a towel.
"Really? We can escort you back home if you need a ride?" Finland said.
North replies, Oh.. No I can get home myself. She starts toward the door.

She smiled with a kind whisper, "liar" she gave him a peck on the lips before letting go of him and pulling herself out onto the ice grabbing a towel and wrapping herself in it before offering him her hand, the other one holding a towel for him

Aster rolled on her side and let out a sigh, her tail thumping slowly on the floor.
