I had a friend on the team, and we talked a lot and got closer, but most of the people there... it was pretty balanced, gender-wise... but I always have a hard time getting on with athletic people u-u JUst not much common ground... my friend and I talk speedruns, and they talked speedy running. They were nice, and I liked hearing them talk and joke, I even managed to sprint fast enough once to keep them from lapping (going past me AGAIN) during a practice ^w^ That was fun, I could hear them whisper-talking behind me, "Let's pass 'em!" and I just yeeted myself to the finish line with everything I had 0-o they kept gaining on me, but somehow I kept going faster XD But that was the closest I got to a real, friend-like interaction with them....

When the band teacher heard they MIGHT cancel all trips, he got the band class OUT of school for their trip as fast as he could X3 the day he left, all school trips got cancelled, but they didn't have to come back early or anything. All the other kids that were supposed to go on trips were so mad XD
Oh no! ono I'm kinda used to cold, but there are still some temperatures that get me :/ like in the winter especially, it's so bad >_< but both times I went to the US, it was pretty nice :3

I like to daydream to avoid talking to people, not my friends or people at school, mostly just my family. occasionally I'll walk into school and not talk until lunch but my friends talk a lot so it isn't awkward. I always rely on my friends or the other person to start a conversation because I genuinely don't know how to >.<
my nama and one of my aunts are short but the rest of my family is pretty tall. guess the genes were just against us huh

your team sounds really fun ^_^ I already knew everyone on the team but I mostly didn't talk to anyone until I joined. they would run with me at meets (well, on the side of the track because boys and girls ran separately) my school is a pretty athletic school, if you don't do sports you know virtually nobody from other towns, so I talked to tons of athletic people. my other best friend plays soccer, lacrosse, and swims year round so he's always pretty busy with sports. then there's me who's lazy and only shoots and rides horses
i'm trying to get back into running though ^-^ I've been running 10 minute miles (oof)

my chorus teacher told us not to panic and then locked us in a room full of wasps -_-
kids were crying and banging at the door but he wouldn't let us out until my old science teacher came to rescue us. then we cycled through 4 other teachers within the span of a month. never got a trip though.
we used to compete then go to an amusement park, it was really fun ^-^
the temperature has to be just right for my mood in order for me to enjoy it. like 90 at home is hot but if I go on vacation I could be wearing a sweatshirt and complaining about being cold, same with coldness. we go skiing in under 10 degree weather and I can last hours but as soon as my house hits upper 60s I'm diving for blankets and sweatshirts. I like the springtime though, when it isn't windy and cold, because I prefer the heat to be nice enough that you can sit outside and feel warm without feeling disgustingly sweaty or chilly because of a breeze

I don't even think about it... I just slip into this fantastic dreamland 0-o it's purely accidental >///< makes it kinda hard to make friends... but I like talking to people, I don't know... but, according to my 16-personalities type, and it's very true, I don't look at people like conversation partners... they're more like some sounding board to throw my ideas at and see if they're alright... but I find that talking about the person you're talking to and learning about them helps, so I'll improve :D I hope :/

Hardly anyone's athletic around here :/ and if they are, it's hockey or football. ^{_{Er... not the american football, btw X3}} And like, they're supportive and all, but not like... run-on-the-side-of-the-track supportive 0-o My last track meet, my coach had me run the half-mile (the only one she wanted me to do the entire season) AND the mile 0-0 She gave me the option to NOT do the mile, but I did it anyway cuz I mean why not ^{_{i guess you could say I went the eXtRa MiLe}} and I lost SOOOO badly :T but she was just happy I did it at all X3 and it felt pretty good to... i dunno, I mean I embarrassed myself, but... I challenged myself, so that was alright :/

I've learned to control it because I used to start to daydream in class and I'd get yelled at which would lead to tears so I just had to be on high alert all the time at school >.<
I don't really take initiative on the direction of the conversation, I just kind of let the other person lead. In general I'm not much of a talker unless something huge just happened. I had to explain to my friend, who thought she was talking too much, that I genuinely enjoy hearing her talk because I can focus on her and not my thoughts and it was a very awkward conversation. At least now she talks without getting embarrassed about speaking too long.
my grandmother, I don't know where the name came from but when I was born she didn't want to be called grandma because it would make her feel old. I think she wanted to be called something like Mimi but I was little and I got to choose so I choose Nama.

I like biking by the beach, not on the beach because that's too hard, but like on the road next to the beach. It's a wonderful feeling.
all the boys in my school play some sort of video game as well, I mean it's a pretty common thing, yeah? I, being a very noobish video game player, only play minecraft and only game with two boys who like to blow up my worlds... Girls will always start drama, boys do too but they tend to not take it to heart and get over it within minutes. I've just learned to say what I have to say, in the most polite way possible, and take myself out of the conversation/drama as soon as possible. If I get asked my opinion on a drama or to choose sides I just look at them and go back to whatever I was doing.
hockey seems fun, I would break all my bones and die within two minutes of being on the ice, but it seems fun. The biggest sport at my school is either soccer, basketball, or track. There isn't one person in my class who hasn't participated in one of those, other than my friend, but she did volleyball for a year or so.
It was a very weird bond we had, we wouldn't talk at school, except for this one kid who would push me into lockers and call me Fireball. We also never talked after the season stopped but that one kid and I always made fun of each other, it was a redhead bond I suppose.
that's good! pushing yourself, not that you lost. I used to want to run the shorter distances in track but stuck with cross country because I liked running in the woods better. not because I did any better (if anything I did worse because I liked to look at the trees and plants as I ran)
I used to run 12 minute miles in school so I'm happy I'm down to 10 but the majority of my classmates run 7-9 minute miles so I want to get around that area ^-^

a factory tour does seem a bit boring, though if you have friends with you it could be fun. I went to nyc with my old girl scout troop and we did some tour of a wax museum (which is much more boring than you would think it'd be) but because I had friends we made it fun. We also had a lot of pent up energy from seeing plays all day so that contributed I guess.
I can't sleep at night unless my room is cold and noisy, like I will stare at my ceiling and get so frustrated if it isn't cold enough. I like warm air during the day though, and summer nights when it's just starting to cool off but the driveway is still warm and you were just in the pool after eating s'mores but now your tired so you pull on whatever clothes you have and lay on the pavement and stare at the stars; those are the moments I love in life (among others that I like to write down when I feel sad because it gives me daydream material)

so there was a new update for warframe yesterday and I am SHOOK
so basically
there's a dude who gets turned to glass and you have to figure out why he's glass. there's an area with clues and stuff and really cool rewards.
that's fun, but you know the best part?
the LORE
we do be getting a bunch of lore on the cephalons, one of the most vauge things in the game.
(cephalons are A.Is made of floating shapes, here's a picture of one. he has committed many war crimes)

and now to speed through what we knew before glassmaker: *inhales*
so basically the precursors named the Orokin took people who signed up or did a bad and turned them into floating shapes that controlled ships and could remember almost everything as a punishment or because they needed a historian.
So now we are finding out that the cube bois where ether turned to glass, then yeeted into a cube body, or drink the substance known as Kuva and have that yeet them into cube.

I was supposed to take side on this huge argument between my friends... and I couldn't. None of that mushy 'I can't choose between my friends' stuff, I just legitimately thought all of them were being really dumb about it, and anyone involved refused to take in the whole story... y'know, both sides :/ and then someone I hardly spoke to tried to drag me into it by spreading rumors I was talking badly about one of the involved parties behind their back and I just... anymore I don't even let people know my opinions, I just kinda silently think any debate is either really stupid or really blown out of proportion -_- bleh. And all of this, the last thing I will say about it, was started and fueled by girls ;-;

Track wasn't very big at my school until the year after I did it... then it exploded 0-o Not much basketball, but it's pretty easy to pick out who plays it... they're not, like, super tall, not many people are at my school, but they're, like, skinny, but also their arms are muscular? I dunno X3
There's one girl that was on the track team, she was always really nice ;-; no matter who you are, she just kinda encourages people to be themselves and do what they love no matter what and people like her remind me that somewhere, there's hope for humanity
Hey, any improvement is still improvement! There were kids on my team getting ridiculously short times... but from 12 to 10 is REALLY good :D (I went from, like, 12 to 11:55 sec... X3) I just ran cross country because I was literally, 0 sarcasm, forced into it 0-o I was made to do two sports that year, and that's also when my grades started going downhill, imagine that -n- anyways, don't really regret it, got me more comfortable working with people and putting myself out there a little more :/ so... whatever

Good friends can make amputation seem funny u-u nothing like having someone to share slow, boring times with to cheer you up :3
I have a hard time with a completely quite room, too... but only cuz small noises really freak me out 0-o and not even for a good reason X3 my asperger's makes it so I really notice little, tiny, non-threatening sounds, and then if there's not another sound to block it out, my mind will immediately jump to--wait for it--a killer animatronic. It's stupid, and I know it is, but that five nights at freddy's game really freaked me out as a kid :T and... it still kinda does, after being scared of it for so long....
