You smelt a small mouse. They seemed to be talking about the mountains and whether they should leave, Ginger seemed to be arguing for yes,t he black she for no and Bear seemed unsure.
I let them argue, dropping down into a hunting crouch downwind of the mouse, being careful of where to set my paws and pouncing once close enough

Silversong freezes, trying to assess how much or a danger the fox would be. Could she take it down on her own? Probably not, but she awaits a more thorough description from the narrator.

It looked old for a fox and was just slim, but it's claws were well groomed and you noticed blood on its fur.
