Pros: Will provide shelter, Can have nice inhabitants, lots of nooks and cranny's for treasure.
Cons: There could be something nasty (same danger with all the paths), we could get dusty.

Choice B
Pros: Do we like camping?
Cons: Rugged, we would be easily hurt, we are exposed to the elements, there is a higher chance of something nasty being there.

Choice C
Pros: Less likely that there is something nasty, seeing as we have already been that way.
Cons: Nasties come out to play at night that were not there in the day, it is counterproductive, we have already been that way, it is getting dark and we would be walking up a mountain!

How it works

Okay so what if a bunch of you make it to the end? In this case I will be using random.org and do a backwards drawing. The first person on the list wins the first prizes listed here, as if they were kicked out at that point in the game. For example: Players 1, 2 and 3 make it to the end. In random.org this list is generated: 3, 1, 2. That means player 3 wins "12th to go", player 1 wins "13th to go" and player 2 is the last one standing... and the pot of gold is split 3 ways.

And what if no one makes it to the goal? The prizes will be distributed as usual and no one wins the pot of gold.

I'm not sure the house seems safe, but then neither is a mysterious road I suppose...
