She is the spectre of the night; the bean sidhe. That is my inspiration for her - Halloween, specifically, and the legends of the sidhe women.

It's based off of fall colors! The pretty oranges, yellows, reds, and browns!

One of my favorite things about fall is watching the leaves change. One tree species that I think shows the fall colors the best is a sugar maple so I based my design off the colors of a sugar maple in the fall.

He is inspired by the image of autumn leaves falling into a pool of clear water. The Ryori species' wispiness helps greatly in expressing a sense of translucence for the body!

I call it: Frosted Ground
When all the leaves have turned brown and are on the ground. I really love when sometimes early in the morning just as the sun is coming up, the light catches the tiny ice crystals on the dark leaves and really gives them a cool sparkle.
It is specific to autumn because the leaves are somehow darker than during winter where everything seems grey. The frost just pops in autumn!

As the chilly winds of late autumn whip through the forest, dropping the first snowflakes of the year, the last of the dry, changing leaves are torn from barren tree branches and scattered into the dusk.
