The kelpie stays put, sitting patiently.
As you hold your spear and head back down, you notice, that in the field of flowers, you too, start to feel nauseous. Eventually you also start to regurgitate your last meal. As you look down, however, you notice that in the field of flowers a skeleton, no, several skeletons, are nestled between the flowers.
What do you do?
She decided to keep on going into the field. Some hint could appear.

You start to feel light headed. You still don't see any signs, soon you arrive at the other side of the field. The further you head away from the field, the better you feel. The blue flowers also disappear.
What do you do?

There is a tree just near by, maybe if you swing, you can make it. It's also possible, that you may miss, but the steps are going to collapse soon and the Puff is also quickly tiring.
She steps forward, and her bushy tail begins to sway from side to side. After a couple moments, she then leans her head into your hand. She looks up at you again. Maximus scratches the floor lightly, seemingly anxious to get going.
Pick up the creature and follow maximus

Just as you let go, you ear a loud crash. The stairs collapsed. You don't see the puffadore.
What do you do?

After some searching you feel the puffadore's claws sink into your back and climb up to your shoulder. It rests there. It's time to look for somewhere to go.
