You find one that lists all the berries, another with herbs, one with poisoning and another on infections, swellings and wounds. You only have time to read one.

You spent the day reading it. In the end you learnt:
-How to detect an infection
-Cold water cools a swelling
-If you get a wound and it is not swelling on the outside when it should, seek medical help immediately
-Keep wounds clean
-The basics of closing a wound and bandaging
(You have not gained any healing levels, but I've noted down that you know this. Since Galexia is coming to this part of the library in a few paragraphs, you'll be in the middle of the book when she does.)

You lead Bounty over to a store where they sell apples. He starts drooling for one. The shop keeper laughed and gave him one for free, "They're 5 gold each after this, mind you. That's a magnificent stallion you've got there."

He grimaced, "Doesn't usually happen around here. Good luck to you. The stables are just next to the blacksmiths." he waves his hand in a direction down a cobbled road.
