Lava Rock Fields
I chose both of these designs because of the vacation I went on for Memorial Weekend, to Capitol Reef. While I was driving through the landscape, I noticed little shrubs lining the red rocks, so I thought I would make a design out of it. During this trip, I also came across fields that were dotted with black, igneous rocks. I thought the contrast between the blueish green grass and the grey rocks were really pretty. The yellow comes from little flowers that were nestled in between the grass.

My dad is in the army, so I decided to make a pet based on it. The Faelora didn't work as well as I hoped...
Fire Power Ny'vene
We went camping during the three day weekend. That included a little shooting trip as well. Unfortunately, my dad missed it since he had to drive back home to get something. (It's a two hour trip from our house to the campsite so he was gone for a while.) Please don't get upset at me for using a Ny'vene. I wanted to use another sylesti but I couldn't get it to work.
Riverside Campsite Nytekrie
We had a campsite next to the river, for a while. It was beautiful. Unfortunately, that campsite had been reserved, but it hadn't gone through the computer properly. We had to move to another spot. (Which was not by the river and was very dull in comparison to our first campsite...) I hate working with the Nytekrie and I'm not entirely sure what made me do this sylesti.

here are my entries~
normandy soldier
my great grandfather served in WWII. though i'm not entirely 100% sure where he served at, i can recall my grandma saying that he was involved in the normandy landings on d-day. so, here is my depiction of a soldier on a beach... or at least a combination of beach and soldier colors
patriotism
because you can't get more cliche then red, white, and blue (while i don't own too many ryori {i literally own 1}, i do love them a lot. yes, i did read your note of favorite species only)
