What you want to do for the Times:
I would love to join the artist team! I have been drawing pretty much my whole life and the only way I can really use it is on my youtube channel (Aspen Animations). Since I'm not allowed (yet) to have any social medias. Which is fine, but I want to show my art and I think this is a good way to do it.
Have you had any experience with something like this before?:
Not in newspaper making in particular, but I did try to start one in animal jam a few years back since at the time the computer version had one and the mobile version didnt. It didnt last long since everyone on that game is younger kids... but at least I tried. I am also currently a beta tester for EA, Minidragon, and Wildworks. so I could be an editor too if you need one. I can also draw in multiple styles.
Any extras:
I saw that the last couple of Times papers hadn't had any comics in the comic section? Maybe If that's ok, I could make a comic series for the times? (I can use a story me and my freind zero have been working on for the past 5 years, or I can even do one for the adventures of sadie.)
Here is an example of a comic I did a while back for a school project:

This was drawn in ms paint so I could get it done really quick but the ones I would do for the times would be drawn in ibis paint x.

hey! im currently grounded and this is the first chance i've gotten to access sylestia. my only chances to get on will usually be tuesdays and thursdays until october unless my mom thinks i've been good enough.
