Orion raised an eyebrow, "If me and Kara come along we'll have to join you on your ship, the one we came on dropped us off here and then left."

Kara glared at Orion in an attempt to tell him to shut up, but he was right they would have to go with Traqil and Zeth. She nodded. "We'll take your offer up on the ship and the medical supplies." She wasn't as badly injured as Zeth was but in case they had any further encounters it wouldn't hurt to get some medical attention.

"Look, I didn't invite you, he did," she said to Scias as she gestured to Traqil.
"I don't care how helpful you think you'll be, to me you're still nothing more than dirt eating slimy son of b-"

Traqil thought it a good time to cut his reckless sister off, intending to keep fighting to a minimum.
"Zeth, for the love of all things good, shut up and go to the ship."

She turned and left, using a large stick as a crutch.

He rolled his eyes, slightly pinching the bridge of his nose.
"I uh, I apologize for her. She's been a bit childish lately. I don't know why, but I'm sure she'll get over herself sooner or later. I'm starting to feel more like a father than a big brother...Anyway, X, you said you were skilled in engineering? Wonderful. I can always use a hand. Anyone else have any noteworthy skills? Don't be shy, because everything helps in some way."

Scias was irate at this point, sparking a bit with his tail lashing the ground.
"The **** is her problem? I haven't done anything to her."

"Anyways, shortie right here knows his way around robotics. Preferably those of the shooty kind. Pretty good at breaking into computer systems too when he's not boilin' over about something. Might be advised to keep an eye on him, he's pretty stubborn."

"Anyway, for any ready to lend a helping hand, I have several methods of payment. I don't know what each of your species prefer, but I offer gems, units (universal currency), and various goods I have picked up during my travels."

"Hey, gems are always appreciated, though we usually keep them more around as food now than anything else. Most of our species just takes units or credits, whatever you prefer to call 'em. Kinda stopped using our own currency once we hit interstellar space travel. Just easier when half the damn population is off on other planets most of the time anyways."

"..Other goods? Exactly how often do you two travel anyways?"

"Well, yes, my species actually eats gems and jewels as well, but thats to their value on many planets, they can often get me out of a financial pinch. As for traveling, sort of like Zeth, I am currently employed in the entertainment industry. While hers is not as...legal, as mine, we both get to travel due to our jobs. It's quiet fun in my case. I-uh, don't really want to get into it much more than that, but It takes me places for sure."
He rubbed the back of his neck a bit nervously, but was able to shrug it off in no time.
"So Cillian, you'll be glad to hear there is a place to sleep. Tessa, my ship can always use a bit of housekeeping if you've no particular skills. As for payment, what sounds fair? I'd prefer to pay a certain amount per day, but whatever works for you all."

Kara crossed her arms. "As long as there's no fire, I'm down to traveling with you guys, but if this whole thing requires me to be near constant flame, that is a no. Other than that, I can do housekeeping."

Orion grinned. "Just being able to see something other than fog all day would be awesome, and I don't think the Canopians would appreciate me being paid." He frowned tapping his lips in a more serious manner. "I can always help with strategies or helping repair weapons, but I've also been told I'm great at manual labor, although that might have been an insult."

He winked at Cillian. "Cillian trying to sleep, oh I've got to see this, I wonder what's the next thing the universe will do to keep him from getting his beauty rest."
