is back out in the darkness.

nods slowly. "But it's a dangerous flight. We'll have to leave him here, do you think he'll be okay?"

mewls at Jungle cutely.

both look surprised. "Uhm, are you sure it was an adult Vorkid's web you broke?"

has named the new zone! As Skyrose approaches the Storm zone, she can feel the power of the downpour, even from outside of it. There is static in the fog. How... stormy.

"We could always ask another Nyte to protect him while we go." Jungle says. "How long do you think the flight will take?" Jungle asks.

"I don't know." Cherry Blossom says. "Do I have to get an adult Vorkid?"

Dark Secret looks for another cave.

Skyrose goes in.

nods in agreement. "The flight will take all night." Piru looks at the young Griffi. "I'm not sure he can fly... so I'll see if there's a Nyte that can babysit him." Piru flies off.

yawns sleepily.

"I guess not, we never said it had to be an adult." The Bulbori twitch their ears as though they hear something. "You better hurry, though. Night is falling."

finds another cave pretty easily. This one is spacious, but does not hold any further paths inward. There are no sunflowers growing within the sunny interior.

enters the Storm zone, instantly feeling like she needs to find shelter. It is very difficult to move far or fast. She can tell, however, that the storm comes in waves and that this particular cycle is almost at its end.

"Alright." Jungle says, curling her tail gently around the Griffi.

"What happens when night falls?" Cherry Blossom asks, getting ready to go kill a young Vorkid.

Dark Secret rips a tiny bit of her fur off, and decorates the outside of the cave with it. "I think I will live here kind of." Dark Secret goes in, seeing that it would be dark soon. She then placed some if her food out into a corner of the cave and sits down, equipping her sword.

Skyrose continues venturing into the storm zone.

sleeps fitfully. The young Griffi is definitely hungry.

returns after awhile.

follows after Piru. "I will keep an eye on the young Griffi," he intones as he lands on the nest.

both blink. "You mean... you've never experienced night before?" They seem completely in shock. The boy Bulbori tries to explain. "Well, it gets dark... and then...uh... usually we sleep..." The girl Bulbori attempts an explanation too, saying: "The best thing to do when it gets dark is to find someplace safe."

equips her sword! Dark Secret has claimed a home. This cave is more than spacious enough for her stuff. As the darkness outside increases, the lights inside the cavern also dim.

sees that as the storm clears there are several tall strands of flowers that each have exactly two leaves and eleven petals. They vary in height and maturity, but otherwise seem identical. To the North there seems to be massive piles of dead machinery. To the South Skyrose can spot a couple of Sylesti... but she can't tell what kind they are from where she is.

"Thank you." Jungle whispers, not wanting to wake the Griffi up. "Where do we go?" She asks.

"Alright. I'll be back." Cherry Blossom says, going back to the port and untying her crystal. She jumps on and heads back to the Vorkid.

Skyrose goes to the south.

gestures silently and leads the way out of a different crevice. As she exits she makes sure to mention that they should fly low.

sees that at night, the Crystal zone looks quite eerie. The small amount of ambient light plays tricks with half-reflections in the facets of the various crystals. Also there is an ominous silence...

steers back to where she remembers she saw Vorkid, but due to the falling of the night, crashes! As her floating crystal smashes into another, Cherry Blossom leaps for it, barely making it onto the second island. She is stranded on the formation, with chasm all around her.

spots some Zolnixi... shadows? She looks up and sees some flower houses (like tree houses, but with the giant flowers instead), and some winged Zolnixi flying around.

spots Skyrose and looks pretty curious.

Jungle follows Piru.

Cherry Blossom looks around for help.

"Himy name is Skyrose." She says.

Dark Secret goes to bed, curling up.

arrive without incident. They go into a false crystal and arrive at a very small field of what looks like dandelions.

spots Vorkid creeping close by. Their red eyes approach. She also notices some floating crystals that almost look like fun-house mirrors, their form distorted by the crystals all around them.

looks to the left. Then she looks to the right. Then her wings seem to light ablaze, fire emanating from her form. "What business do you have here? And don't think I won't know if you're lying." she warns.

can see that the Zolnixi patrol around here seem to all have the same talismans. Perhaps this is some kind of... sentry area?

rests.

"Is this food?" Jungle asks Piru

Cherry Blossom looks for a small ish Vorkid among the adults.

"I..um am just exploring. " Skyrose says.
