I would avoid the pack in the center of the redwoods which is a ways away, the pack's leader mate died recently and he's somewhat angry since then," she shrugs, "I was apart of the pack but left after we all scattered and most died." she looks down for a second, "I have a den I can show you if you want."

I press my muzzle comfortingly against Harlowe's shoulder. "We could look for your scattered packmates if you'd like. Any survivors we find would be more than welcome to join us for the winter. Is there any chance that your den will hold more than one?"
