Leo nodded to himself and zipped into the woods, a few moments later he came back. "These are much thicker." he muttered half to himself half to Sage. He gently pressed the thick leaves onto Snake's injury and stepped back, bowed his head at Sage, and zipped towards Ember.

Sage nodded and she sat down. Snake flinched slightly in his sleep. Sage wondered what was going on inside his mind. Was he dreaming?

Leo tackled Ember , who growled playfully. Ember and Leo tussled in a play fight kicking up dust where ever they rolled.

Ember came up, pinning Leo down with a strong black-red paw. She grinned triumphantly, "Nice try Leo, but living with a jailer for a mother has taught me some tricks that are very useful in battle." Leo squirmed and cried out, "No fair! You---" he was immediately shut up by Ember's steely red glare.

When Sage wasn't looking, Ember used her powers and levitated Leo onto a tree branch high above the ground. Then Ember dashed playfully away as Leo squeaked with joy and clung fast to the tree. "I'M GONNA JUMP!!!" He squealed excitedly wriggling his blue rump.

Leo bounded forward on the branch with determination sparking in his dark blue eyes. He leaped into the air, unfurling his under developed wings. He soared for about 1.3 seconds then landed hard on his little rump, "Yeow!!!" he squeaked bewildered. "TOTALLY WORTH IT!" He shouted with glee.
