You woke up in Hericon, you had a nice flat from your hard work and you had decent earnings. You didn't have any siblings and had moved out from your parents at this point. The day wasn't looking excellent: there were dark clouds in the sky and the rain was pouring down. Everything outside looked drenched. You had done grocery shopping yesterday, so you had some food in the house. You knew your way around the town and had a mentor blacksmith, who also knew some carpentry and tailoring. you didn't know the paths used for travel and hunting as well, although you knew the main ones.
As Jaxith gets ready for his day he slings a backpack over his shoulder and sets out to see what he can do today. He recently decided that he wants something...More, but he isn't quite sure yet what that is, so he is keeping his eyes and his mind open for opportunities. He decides that if he is going to turn over a new leaf in his life, he might as well find a companion to join him, probably something small and manageable for now, maybe a weasel or bird or something else small that can ride on his shoulders or in his bag as he travels and does his work. But first, he's going to visit a message or quest board, to see what he can get done here in his home town, find his footing in his soon to be new life as it were.

you managed to get very close, they seemed either unaware or not bothered by your presence. Your intelligence level instinctively tells you that there is something wrong with this action, as deers often would flee and you were right up next to them. Then you remembered reading somewhere that Hericon respected the deer and they were not hunted, so they had no reason to be afraid of humans.
I relax and with a light smile go and try to pet one of the deer, curious to see how far this reliance goes
He chuckled, "Yes, I know who you are simply by your father and your brother." he turned away, "One of my guards used to train with your brother, it was interesting to watch, but that is besides the point." he touched his swords hilt, "If you refuse to return and rightfully duel for the mare, I will have to take you up on it now." he gulped, as if seeming cautious
"I dislike fighting, but if you leave me with no other choice.." he muttered, "Leave all you want, but don't return. You won't survive in Tyica like that. You have no control over that mare, it's obvious she was just your stowaway ride. Come before you get hurt."

You headed downstairs, only to find to your dismay as soon as you opened the door, a bucket of water came pouring down onto your head. As you looking down, you were horrified to see dead fish were on the floor where the water had splattered, and you were drenched wet. You saw two of your brothers snickering beside the door.
((Ik ones technically a boy in the anime, but hey only pic I could find. Front shortest two are mums, three boys are brothers))

"That's the spirit" he grinned, "Lets get back and report our prey findings, the gatherers can collect them. Grab your arrows, then we can cash in some money and get some market food." Maria came loudly crashing into the clearing and jumped up at your brother, who stumbled and then pulled her into a hug, pretending he hadn't faltered from shock.

One of the deer went up to you, letting it pet it. It was a doe, with dark brown eyes at seemed to shine in the sunlight. It seemed pretty content and pressed it's nose against your hand, then pockets to see if you had any food.

You did start off with a small animal of choice, as you live in Hericon.
Your <animal> ran up to you, standing on it's hind legs and sniffing your leg, as if curious of what you were doing, and about the backpack. They get the message after a section and began walking in circles, before walking to the front day and pawing that as well until you agreed to open it, darting out and sniffing the outside air. It looked back at you curiously, as if waiting for you to follow before heading off in a walk down the street.
It seemed to know where you wanted to go, leading down a few zigzags to avoid main roads and to take a more direct route to the town hall and noticeboards, avoiding market crowds. He sat, looking along the noticeboards in the main hall. There are several, one for job advertisements, some for club or market advertisements, others for general news and invitations. There was even a place to stick someones mail to a board.

He looked shocked, then stuttered, "N-No, I couldn't.." he looked taken aback, taking a step forward. At this pint, Inca reared up and as you turned to face the stone mountain you'd both slid down, she headbutted you hard, forcing you into the air and to clumsily roll onto her back. She looked rather upset at Sage and snorted angrily.
He sighed and closed his eyes, drawing his sword before remounting his horse, he was starting to glow. You then heard slow clapping, and looking above you saw a man standing. Sage looked shocked and the glow disappeared, he bowed his head.
