Going to admit, I'm not a fan of the new Vulnyx and am one of those that is going to miss the old one. That will be the only opinion I have for the whole dislike/like stuff going on, but there is something I have to comment about with the new artwork on it.
Missing/hiding/hardly visible Nekomata Tails with almost all wings:
*Also.. Going to beg for the Aurleon artwork NOT be changed. I love it how it is: BEAUTIFUL*

I personally prefer the older Vulnyx... but perhaps it's just because it's so different now, and I need some time to get used to the changes.

This may have already been brought up earlier. I'm not sure. But anyway for future pets that are going to be changed, I'd recommend going ahead now saving pictures of ones that you like. One of the planned additions for the site will be pet profiles. Once implemented, there you can include a picture of your pet from before any changes as a keepsake.

http://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=787541 is actually supposed to have the Flame because it's themed as a Flood. And Lynx really messed up the look. I want Flame back in the first slot where it belongs, please. I would also appreciate it if you returned the basecoat color to the DARK green I had it at so the lucky runes and flames which are both in lighter shades of green will actually show.
The current look is boring, bland and really quite UGLY. I do NOT appreciate it.

It's my starter see, and I kinda wanted it to remain the way I had it.

Oh and as for taking pictures, maybe you should warn people in advance that you're about to do something that is going to mess up their favorite pet...that makes more sense to me than telling people to take an image when they weren't expecting something like this. This is the fourth of four breeding sims I'm on and you're the very first ones that I've ever seen that would just change something like that, mess it up and then tell people 'you should have a picture of what it used to look like'.
A redraw is one thing, messing up the markings entirely and replacing a desired marking with an undesired one is something else entirely. It removes choice...that's not a good thing on a breeding sim.
I'm sorry, but I am 51 years old and that sounds like the sort of excuse I'd expect from one of my fourteen year old grandsons. It just does not wash.

As stated by Krin in the original post regarding the genes
If you have a generated pet affected by this, you can send me a PM and let me know if you'd like them changed.

Well, the Aurelon's already been revamped once. I can't imagine it would need it again.

I honestly think you need to calm down a bit, you seem to be really overreacting, especially if you're fully grown. As they've said, the site is still in beta. It's prone to change at any second, that's the point of beta. I have trouble believing you've gotten that far in life without being surprised a few times. It's something you need to be understanding of. Change isn't fun, but it is inevitable, and you need to deal with it. I understand why you're upset but basically insinuating that the admins are acting childish isn't that "adult" of a reaction either.
More importantly, if you read the first post, you CAN get your pet fixed to be more like how it was. You just need to PM an admin. Don't panic before reading everything next time. Besides, the admins are here talking to us, taking our feedback, and responding. They're being very reasonable about this. There's no need to be rude to them. NO website I'm on right now gets this sort of personal attention and responses.
