"Nothin'." Kat replied, swinging the basket she held. "I spent all of the grocery money there, last time we went. Ma said I wasn't to buy anything until I save up my own money to spend."

Lunar was in the forest. Running. She knew her pack would follow. must make it.. city.. escape from fire.. use magic.. make wolves human.. the pack was uncomfortable while changing, for it was their first time, the pups just became dogs, and the pack all disbanded with a farewell, and some tears, into the city, ready to meet up as soon as possible, trying not to get their cover blown. Lunar hoped they wouldnt go back to their wolf forms. She stopped near a school, having learned most academics from the wolves (they were smarter than people thought) and could easily catch up to her grade. Two of her most loyal wolves decided to act as her parents, Dawn and Skylar. They both acted like her parents before she escaped, and so she was comfortable with their decision. They got jobs, and, within a month, they had a house, food, clothing, and she could go to school. They would choose to attempt to enroll her next week, and was accepted.

That wasn't the only strange thing to happen on your way towards what seemed to be a river, there were several moments when you could have sworn that you saw a human arm rather than a fox's leg, but everytime you looked it would just be a normal fox's leg.

I ignore what I thought I'd seen, if it was a shifter they would have been much kinder and thanked me for chasing a bear off of them. I set the fox down on the bank and wade in, looking for moss to soak and clean their wounds with.

Walking into school, Lunar wore a hoodie, trying to stay hidden. She went into the corner, watching the other kids play on their weird small rectangle things that made odd sounds. (Phones) She was curious to ask about them, but, her instincts told her to lay low, for she might embarrass herself. One kid walked up to her with brown hair and mean grey eyes, with a couple girls giggling and blushing behind him. Hey, cutie, He said, I want to see whats under your little hood. he held her chin. N-no.. she replied.

"Well, looks like I'll have to measure you in your sleep again." she mumbled to herself then looked back at you, "We're gonna need to close that up with a clip or something." she walked over to the desktop by her bed and opened one of the drawers. It was filled with all kind of random papers and objects. After some time of digging through it she found a small clip then walked back over to you and used it to 'close' the dress. She walked around and have you a quick once over to make sure it all looked right then her evil from returned, "I did, per se, happen to buy some heels for you as well."
