two more of the creatures come to rest on the tops of the book shelves, looking down at us curiously. "they're some sort of bird. they should have been dinner, but i shadow stepped while holding the eggs they hatched from and now they look like this" he says, letting the one next to him hop in his lap as vitalus finishes up, stepping away.

"That's gotta be the strangest thing I ever heard," Asmodeus murmurs, keeping his distance from the strange birdlike creatures.

"it is strange, but he's right, they're cute" the reaper says fondly, watching the bird in his lap lean so far into his touch that it falls over in a puff of black and grey feathers. "anyways" he says, removing the bird from his lap and standing up "enough about the birds. there's fresh cooked deer on the table under the towel" he says, pointing at the table in question "eat if your hungry"

moving over to the table, i pull the cloth away, revealing still warm, still juicy venison. helping myself to a piece i move away, immediately being surrounded by hungry birds.

Mizuki : I grab enough meat for me and the birds as some leave Adromeda a gladly give them pieces of my food and offer it to them petting them gently on thei heads ....
