Newt sighed. "Elf, I told you, I saw you in a cafe. I remember practically every face i see and yours was memorable."

Nicote glared at Newt. "That reminds me...."
*cue endless bickering*
(Yes, they WILLL constantly bicker. And quarrel. And fight. And basically be quite obnoxious, especially since it's been awhile...but they CAN get along when they aren't trying to kill each other)

"Oh course it is..." Dexion said suddenly upset. "How could it not be with all those marks on it." He crossed his arms over his chest lightly. "I just wanted to know what you said to me when we were in the cafe."

Newt stopped mid-argument again. "I told you, we didn't say anything. You stormed out of the place long before I even thought of it."

Nicote snorted. "Of course you were also in your I'm-not-talking-to-anyone because-my-voice-sounds-funky phase."

"For your information, Nicky, I just didn't want to talk much at the time-hey, what was that for?" Newt protested. (Nicote had elbowed him in the ribs-hard)

Astra had her hands over her ears. "Can you guys just be civilized and talk things out without the constant arguing?" she asked. She realized that keeping Nicote alive had drained more magic out of her than she relized and she quietly stepped into the shadows.

Nicote disappeared and reappeared beside Astrana "Sorry 'bout that, my brother is a world-class hothead. Well, ok, so am I but he can get annoying, and well.....let's just say that this is how we usually greet each other." he whispered.

Newt, emanwhile, was glancing around. "Wait....where'd he go? Oh man, don't tell me we're gonna have to go look for a bunch of lovebirds..."

She smirked. "Thanks for the idea Newt." she said vanishing.

Nicote grinned and followed.


Newt looked confused.

Astra grabbed Nicote to let him know where she was, and pulled him away from the spot they vanished at, next to a shadow in front of the water.

Nicote's eyes shone. "He'll be looking for the next half hour." he chuckled.

She smirked. "Hey, he gave the idea."
