Irylin felt his heartbeat speed up as another dragon began to speak to him. He forced himself to focus on what the dragon was saying before inadvertently glancing up when the dragon began to gesture at the sky.

Guards. Guards flying towards the administrators building.

I dont know for sure, but it looks like someone is starting a riot or something. I mean, surely theres no country who would start a fight with the Empire over a desert city. He looked at the dragon he was talking to with a curious look in his eyes. Are you going to check it out?

Lazi nodded, that was a smart plan, a plan even she couldn't say was bad, even if she wanted to.
"Sure, nice plan. You lead the way," She said crouching down, wondering why the dragon had been stammering "My name is Lazi by the way. You are?"

Mali followed Cesura carefully, letting out a tiny yawn as she skidded to a stop next to her, she was tired.
"Leeps," She mumbled almost falling asleep standing up "leep."

He looked down the street, conscious that he shouldn't stay here long lest the guards decide to come down for the lot of them. "No fear," he chuckled, holding his talons up. "The guards will be jumpy, I want to get indoors as soon as possible. Sadly we're not lucky enough to be liberated by another country. But thanks anyway."

Kai'hel looked around again, voicing his worries. "I think we should all get off the street. You know what the guards are like - I get the impression whatever is going on," - he waved his talons in the direction of the administrator building - "might encourage curfews to be introduced. Guards like to pounce on a chance like that wherever they can, so best not make ourselves easy pickings."

He grimaced, pointing his head in the dragon's direction.

"Oh, I uh... you go for it. Leading the way, I mean. I'd be better keeping a lookout," she murmured. At the dragon's question she hunkered down to the ground further. "I am... here?" Dragons did this all the time, telling her their name then asking a random question. She couldn't figure it out. But that wasn't important just now - they had to move.

"Okay," Lazi nodded, watching her confused as she answered the other question, here, was that her name?
"I was asking for your name, by the way, not where you are," She said with a sigh as she started to weave through the alleyways, hoping a soldier would not spot her, they better not.

Elenor trotted after Lazi, eyes darting from around them to the sky. Her senses were on full alert - she was aware of her stained talons and what they would tell about what she had been doing in the last few hours.

"Oh," she said quietly, a frown on her lips. "What for?" She was aware that when someone asked her name, it was usually because she'd done something wrong. She hoped she hadn't - if she had, it might put them in danger.

Lazi rolled her eyes, yet again, this dragon was hard to talk to. She had noticed the stuff on the dragon's talons, but ignored, having more important matters to deal with, like how to get out of here and to safety.
"Because, if you don't tell me your name, then I won't know what to call you. I will call you something you probably won't like, like I don't know, something," She said looking around the corner as she slowly walked out, if there was any guards they would feel her rage.

She was both relieved but still left feeling baffled by this conversation. "I don't care what you call me. But I used to be referred to as Elenor."

She double checked every corner and alley they passed, her claws making the barest click on the cobbles. She wasn't sure where they were going but kept her mouth shut.

Lazi continued to walk, she was feeling a lot of things, she was starting to think back to her confusing and painful past, what she often did when she was nervous. She thought back to the fire, the death, the battle, the truth that had chilled her to the bone, her brother leaving her and her parents deing.
"We should hurry," She so to no one as she continued at a faster pace, weaving through the alleyway.
