Vitalus sighed and grabbed enough for him and Glacis to eat.

"careful, they bite" the reaper warns, tossing a sliver of meat in the air. the closest bird leaps in the air, diving and catching it in it's massive talons, immediately scarfing down the food in the blink of an eye. the reaper reaches up and removes his face as all of use watch in fascination.

his eyes are dark red, like wine or blood. his skin is dark, not very dark, though, his hair is black as coal and rests in curls atop his head. all in all, handsome in a rugged, war torn sort of way. leaning back into his chair with a sigh he seems to deflate, smiling as one of the birds lands near his head, looking down at him. "i suppose you'll be wanting places to sleep tonight, as well?" he asks.

Vitalus eyes widen a little when he saw the reapers face but said nothing.

Mizuki : blushing i tell him yes and that were thankful for any thing he offers us as i look at the ohers for their aproval

"up stairs is where i usually sleep, i'll find some blankets for you to use as pillows" he says, standing up. "come with me"

we all follow him up the stairs and into a large, mostly empty room. there is a small pile of blankets and a mattress in one corner, with a stack of books next to it. "you're free to read any of the books here, but be careful with them. it took me a long time to fill the shelves back up" he says, opening a door to a small storage room and pulling out some folded blankets. he hands two blankets to each person, before turning towards the stairs again. "i need to go hunting again, stay here while i'm gone" he instructs, making his way downstairs.

Mizuki : when he leaves i ask adromeda .... Hav we been wrong about him i say he seems more nice than we thought ....

"well he also has a thing for mutilating animals and leaving their corpses everywhere so..." i trail off, shrugging. setting out my sleeping bag and blankets, i go down stairs to look at all the books, picking a worn looking one off the shelf. it's by someone named "Maria Dahvana Headley", no doubt long dead, given the wear and tear of the book. it looks like it was produced before the blast, and the blast was around 100 years ago. if the blast didn't kill them, time sure would have.

either way, i take the book with me upstairs again, sitting on my sleeping bag and opening it.

A bird flies over and bites Asmodeus, who yelps. "HATE animals, OW!"

Mizuki : i do the same as adromeda but grab a book that has the author name Stephen King on it....

"looks like he hates you too" i snicker, looking up at the bird who's vehemently glaring at the man, as if trying to kill him with a look alone. "try bribing him" i say, gesturing to the bowl of food that orion is currently try to reach.
