"Musical Instruments" Challenge

This challenge has been created by our very own Shimeree! That's right, her inspiration for this challenge was the many different forms and musical constructions called instruments. Instruments can be the classical pieces that come first and fore most to your mind, or they might be something entirely different. The best thing to do is do some research of your own and see what you the designer can come up with for this challenge. And speaking of this challenge, you are tasked with the challenge to create a pet only design based on a musical instrument of your choice. To help those of you whom don't know too many off the top of your head, please click on the link provided below. It will take you to a list of instruments with in the musical world. Just remember, there are far more whimsical and nature instruments out there other than just man made..So if you don't see it on this list...Research. You might find some rather interesting instruments out there that aren't featured on this list below. Outside of that, please remember to follow all rules and requirements are they are a must. And remember to respond when staff reach out to you. Good luck, and let's see what you come up with this week!

~REQUIREMENTS~
1.) You can only base off an instrument that has not been used by another member. So please be sure to review previous postings before you hit submit! That way no instrument should be duplicated by anyone.
2.) You can only create up to 4 PET designs for this challenge. Each one must be on a different instrument.
3.) Must provide a reference picture of each instrument you base a design from, along with clearly mentioning it's name.
4.) Keep everything to one post only!
5.) ***Extra Credit***Give a link to a song done with that particular instrument.

~RULES/GUIDELINES~
1.) All core group rules are in affect/effect.
2.) Do no haste to ask for help/assistance when needed.
3.) Do not ignore communications from staff and or other members that may be trying to help you.
4.) Remember do not pick and choose what you do and don't do in regards to the challenge. All requirements must be completed if you submit a design. All rules and guidelines must be followed. They are here to help you. To challenge you.

Greetings and good morning everyone!!!

I have a bit of an announcement hence the PING. I will try not to do it often as to flood you with them. But for now please bare with me.

Updates have been completed, including to the Hall of Fame/Archives posts.

Now for the announcement. We, as in the DCU staff, have come up with a decision in regards to negative marks.

We only reinstated them because of how members were openly breaking the rules set for for the group repeatedly week after week after week. We see now that it seems things have calmed down enough that they can be removed once again, along with how long they remain upon your DCU record. Wither they stay gone is completely up to you as the member. So long as the rules are followed and requirements followed we have no need of them. So yeah!!!

On the flip side if someone does break the rules and or requirements openly and repeatedly, you will get a verbal warning to discontinue that conduct. Otherwise you will be given a chance to explain and hash out the particulars without fear of receiving a mark. So long as you do so in a timely fashion. If you continue disregard what is being asked then a mark maybe issued. But only if it is truly warranted.

Again no one should have to really worry about that, because you are all really good about communicating and participating. So we really shouldn't have any issues.

Opting out still needs to be declared weekly when it is available, as participation is a must for this group to function.
