Hey guys, a quick and gentle reminder!

This thread is to be used primarily for chatting, sharing, giveaways, and occasionally offering sales. The pinging for sales and sales thread has been getting to be a bit too much of a regular occurrence and I have started receiving complaints.

Some things to keep in mind:

Pinging needs to be kept to a bare minimum and should only be sales or giveaways for
TAGGED festival themed pets.

Standard tamed pets, non-themed breeding projects, and non festival related offspring are not to be advertised for sale on these threads. After all, we are all here because of our love for tagged festival pets and our passion for preserving them. There are other places to go if you are interested in purchasing or selling wild tamed, non-themed breeding projects, and non-festival related of offspring.

Please don't overuse the ping the list. It's primary use is for notifying the group of contests or group giveaways. Occasional use of the group ping list is okay if you have a lot of tagged festival pets you need to unload. I.e. before a new festival, you might be trying to clear out some of your old tagged to make room for new tagged. Or right after a festival - maybe you caught too many tagged and don't have room for them all?
Using it to notify the group of weekly offspring sales is not okay.

Lastly, please just keep in mind that not everyone likes to be pinged constantly - especially if it's for something they are not remotely interested in. So if you are selling something specific, then only ping those who are actually interested - instead of the entire group.
You can see everyone's tagged preferences on the SFPPS main thread.

If you are not sure if you should ping, then please don't. You can still post your festival themed related sales here and they will be seen by those that check the thread regularly.

If anyone would like to be removed from this ping list due to user abuse, please message me and I will remove you immediately.

Wow. My apologies to the users I have ever pinged, especially in regards to my sales of either tagged sylesti or purebred offspring. I guess I misunderstood the use of the group as well as the point. I thought the group was also to give others access to both tagged and purebreds they wouldn't have access to otherwise. I won't be pinging anyone from now on. I guess the sales search from the search bar should definitely speak for itself. Have a great day!

Pinging people for tagged themed for sale is totally okay.

Even occasionally posting purebred offspring for sale on this thread can be okay - just don't ping the list for that.

Pinging should only be for: Tagged festival themed sales and group contests/giveaways. Most who join this group are interested in preserving tagged festival themed and not necessarily shopping for purebred offspring or other types of offspring. So I can understand their frustration at constantly being pinged to the thread for things they are not remotely interested in. Please know, I am not trying to prevent you or anyone from participating in the chat or utilizing it for rehoming your fest pets. Just trying to remind people that the ping list isn't a catch-all sales list.
