Celuwen, your DL babies both turned out so nice! I've always thought that at least one visible Gene and one visible Mutation is an ideal combination, and you lucked out TWICE! I'm especially fond of the Saltwater Betta. So nice. I'm going to want babies, fah shizzle.
As for SpaceElf's freebie Sunsong baby - I pass, Celuwen...go for it. ^.^
In other news, I haven't been able to get my hands on a Dark Love yet. Spun the wheel three times, got notvorpas and stuck my tongue out at all of them. Currently, I'm trying to negotiate some kind of trade with some non-VV! players who were lucky enough to get multiple DL 'Vorpas. Because, really...what am I going to do with a Nephini, a Puffadore, and a Ny'vene? *eye roll*
My second DL Vorpa hatched, so I thought I'd show you all: (Especially Mist)
I actually squeed when she hatched. :D
Mist: You're working on LF Spikes atm, right? :)
She is adorable!
I don't have either of her traits, so if you'd be willing to breed her out later, I'd definitely be interested. The Alpine Next is lovely on them, and the Lionfish Spikes look great, too.
I'm looking to get any new traits I can to incorporate into the theme, and neither of those existed before for the DL.
Thanks for thinking of me!

Mist, you can have total access for breeding. I'm glad to be helping add to your project. :D (I know I'm far too excitable)
Space, she is a Pink Lady (apples or Grease gang? :P) Imagine the glory of WW in that colour. Mwahah! I've picked up Sanoma Tora and will take good care of her. Thank you. :) You didn't get back to me about what Water Snake traits you'd want in those offspring I promised. Or do you just want two PBs smooshed* together?
Frawn, the demand for Dark Love Vorpas has been insane. I haven't seen anything like it for a non-fabled before. (Even the madness with the Nessies) I had to trade an Angelic Neph for one. Which by all accounts is one of the more popular Noodle Themes. I'm glad you got one too, as they do trade well! Certain Puffs are trading well too, but I have no clue about the Ny'vene.
* Possibly not the best turn of phrase, but you get the idea.

(Sorry for the multi-post, I'm trying to be better about that!)
So, update on my non-themed Vorpa design. I've tweaked the original design Here's the result:
The line-up issues on the male's head is better with the changes. The Henna/MHF isn't the same on both, but both work well. The issues I have now are with the female Henna and WS meet up. I wish there was a black gap between them. Henna can be an unforgiving design. The light eyes work better with the changes.
So I wondered about throwing it out entirely and came up with this:
I adore the female version, but the male lines are wonky. I don't think the genes balance right on the male, really.
So I tried to work for the male instead. I got this:
I love the detailing around the MHF on both. I tried to use the Iridescence to counter the business on the top half of the female, while adding a bit of detail to the bottom half. The male of this design is my favourite of any of the ones here (and previous incarnations).
Anyway, I thought I'd let you all know! Hahah. I'm getting to the point where the Mystic Fins (both head and tail) are pretty much a given, so the time to make up my mind will be upon me. *dramatic music* ;)

Thanks, Celuwen!
Wow, I didn't know the DL were so popular!
I started breeding them because I was lucky enough to get a pair from the week of love fest around Valentine's day earlier this year.
They are a gorgeous theme, though!

Sylvorpa do seem to have become more popular in general. I know I was smitten when I joined the site. I'd say they were the most popular non-fabled? Or perhaps the Themed designs are more lovely. The colouring of the Dark Love, Nessies and Water Snakes are all brilliant, for example. (Thought I do wish the G1 Nessie gene was just slightly more aligned with the other greens. It's a minor personal quibble.)
Gah! I'm doing it again. (Turning a question into an epic response) Anyway, yes! Dark Love Vorps = Popular. :D I agree the theme is gorgeous.
I nurtured too.
Ooh, my last DL has hatched. Another girl. Lotus Scales! :D Annnnnd... Leafy Seadragon Head Fins. >:(
Why does LS Head Fins follow me? ;)

Don't complain, Celuwen. Wings of all kinds follow me, and I cannot stand them (usually).
I read "Frog and Toad Are Friends" to your girl.
Oh, Zolnixies are actually the most popular non-Fabled. That's one reason some of us got the idea for this group--Sylvorpas never seemed to get any love, while everyone likes Zolnxies!
I wonder if our group has contributed to the species' increasing popularity.
Modest? Why yes, I'm quite proud of how modest I am.

Oh my stars, Lotus Scales!!!! *squeels* She's gorgeous! (I don't much care for the Leafy Seadragon traits, either, but still...)
LOTUS SCALES!!!!
(Believe me, I was kinda annoyed when MY pair of DL BOTH hatched with Sharp Webbing, and trait disruptors didn't exist at that point)
Lol. I think that happens to is all when we start on something we like. I know I'm sure that way!
Edit: Your baby has hidden Seaweed Whirlwind! I just check out of curiosity!
