Anyhow, looks like the sell to feature didn't set up right on either pet so I can't test them

@darkwingedangel
Haha nice!
Also, trying to figure out where that first one got visible spirit flames and carried advanced runes 0_o Neither parent has either one...(Both parents have visible wings, and that's it...weird, but awesome!) Also can't figure otu hwo the second one got visible spirit flames as well 0_o Carried would make sense on her though, because the mother has them visible....but anywho XD

@Lostwords13,
Ok the first one got spirit flames because of the comet moth wings. So when you are looking at the trait list (like if you were generating one) Each trait has a drop down menu. The top one is the dominant trait and as they go down, the more recessive the gene is. What this means is that butterfly wings are dominant and comet moth wings are recessive. But because one was most dominant and one was least dominant and the spirit flames was in the middle, that's how you ended up with spirit flames. The spirit flames are a recessive dominant trait, meaning they are recessive to the butterfly wings but dominant to the comet moth wings.
Let me explain this in a way that might be a little easier. I real life breed reptiles (bearded dragons and leopard geckos)
Right now I have a male leopard gecko with a dominant eye color of black. I also have a female with a recessive eye color of red. So their allele traits look like this: male(DD) female (dd) The capital D is for dominant and the lowercase is for recessive. There is also a chance that they might look like this: male(Dd) female (dd) (They don't, I bred the male myself and still have his parents)
So here is what a map for genes would look like. This will show you the babies 4 potential outcomes for the genes it carries. Remember, any time a gene has the dominant trait (D) in it's 2 gene mix, that is the gene that will express. (show)
So from the first picture, we can see that no matter what, the babies will come out expressing the dominant trait. If the father had of carried the Dd trait, the babies would come out half with red eyes and half with black.
It's the same concept with the sylesties. most likely, your pet with the butterfly wings has a recessive gene for the spirit flames which is what it passed to the offspring.
As for the runes, nither parent has been tests so it's probably a hidden carried!
I hope this helps, genetics are confusing but very interesting!
