Here's my mini swarm from the Fall Festival.

I'm hoping to get to 6-vis with these lil bugs so if anyone can help me out with my very first project then I'd suuuper appreciate it. Can anyone spare a few free breedings, or any tips/tricks to share?

For pretty much anything you need to know about 6-vis breeding, I do have a guide here. ^^

https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=16264

It's kinda long, but it holds about 90% of everything I know about 6-vis pet breeding. (The last 10% being the Maxed Stats breeding portion which I haven't had the time to put into words yet since my method is kinda complicated to explain. XD)

The most important quick tips I have... >__> Breed your offspring for as many traits as you can get. If you can get a 4-carry offspring, it will serve you far better than a 2-vis offspring. The sooner you can get multiple 6-trait breeders the faster you'll get to 6-vis.

(For a good example of this concept just take a look at Sweet Harvest Goddess, who is a purebred Harvest Embers Lunemara. The mother had 1 visible trait and 5 carries, while the father had 2 visible traits and 4 four carries. It was a slim chance for all of those carries to pass and get a 6-vis, but Sweet Harvest Goddess is the proof that it CAN happen.)

As well, you will definitely need to find someone to genetically test your pets for you, or invest in an exceptional genetic testing kit yourself. It's hard to go through a breeding project when you can't determine which breeders are worth keeping, and which have so few traits that they'll pretty much hold your project back.

yes I did. you have to link me to the pet that actually exists right now. Future possibilities don't count.

"I'm still working on my favorite lol" Means it doesn't exist yet
"But to give you an idea this is my project' Mean's I'm just showing you what I'm working on.

At no point did I say I was submitting this one for the project. I'm sorry you misunderstood

Absolutely wonderful guide, Xavion!

Your advice about collecting carries over visibles is especially, enormously helpful! For now I've been a little disappointed when my eggs hatched with no visibles and no way to genetically test, but it's good to know that they are still (possibly) usable in my projects.

The biggest hurdle, as you mentioned, is finding someone to genetically test the offspring. I was hoping to get my hands on my own genetic test kit in the Winter Sale but that's awfully close now. Currently I have 300 diamonds and 1.5 mil gold, so I'm not too far away, but this Winter Festival will likely be very expensive!

If anyone is selling diamonds (at a 1:2500 rate) or is willing to lend gold or diamonds before January 1st, then please let me know! Or if not, any ideas when the next diamond shop sale will be?

P.S. Your disruped BM Lune is absolute perfection Xavion! :)

^^ Thanks! I spent sooooo many hours on that guide, and still need to spend a few more just to update it. >_>;

Also, quick tip on the currency exchange: you can also sell your gold for diamonds! It may take a little longer, but the most common price is 200,000 for 100 diamonds (2000:1) and on occasion I've sold as much as 1 million for 500 diamonds (maybe 1,050,000 just to boost it to the top for ratio and make it more appealing, lol) Overall it's 250k cheaper than buying 500 diamonds at the 1:2500 ratio, and all it takes is a little patience. :)

So far as the next-next diamond sale goes (after the Winter Fest one) there's a high probability that they'll have something for the Week of Love in February if everything is going smoothly enough with the Megazone updates.

showing off + holiday message

Hey all,

I'm going to show off my breeding successes, because they all happened this morning when the eggs hatched. First, we hatched a couple of 6 vis: One is a pureblood radiotroph (finally!) and the other is very similar to The Plumbum Flower

We also have a 5 vis success with really lovely black and white wings. I was thinking of dying the frosted tips and the glowbutt different colours to better compliment...Anyone got ideas?

Now that my showing off is out of the way, I want to wish you all a Merry Christmas! It's Christmas day in Australia, and Christmas Eve in other parts of the world, and I hope you are all enjoying this time with your families and friends.

I consider you all to be my online/long distance family, and if you can't spend this holiday with your loved ones for whatever reason, you're all most welcome here with these virtual ones.

(This includes non-lune lovers and people that haven't been pinged but might be snooping around too. Yes. You are also welcome here. Just don't kill the mothies while here.)

Enjoy yourselves and be safe.
