Autumnstar lead her pups to the aprentices den. "Now then, since its dark I want you to get your rest. We are going on an adventure tomorrow and you need your sleep." Autumnstar then heade to her den and layed down in her nest.

Spotpup woke up and went outside and looked up at the sky. She sighs. Then Spotpup heads to the medicine den.

Autumnstar woke in the medicine den, poppy seeds by her side. Stumblefoot nosed through her pelt. "What am I doing her?" she asked and sat up. "I found you in pain by the thorn barrier," Stumblefoot replied caustiously. "I thought I should take you to my den and then fed you poppy seeds." Autumnstar looked up thankfully. "Well then thank you. But I should be ordering patrols with Talonclaw." Autumnstar touched the small medicine cats head with her nose then walked out of the den.
Autumnstar sat up on the half rock and called out. "Dustfur take Hollypaw, Blazefoot, and Clover tooth with you on border patrol. Talonclaw, I'm going to take my pups and their mentors on a border hunting patrol. We are going to the windcan border." Talonclaw nodded and continued ordering patrols. Autumnstar stalked to the apprentices den. She nosed her way through and saw her pups sleeping. Padding forward, Bramblepaw looked up sleepily. "Is it time for patrol?" he asked. Autumnstar nodded and told him to wake up his brother and sister. She padded backwards out of the den and found their mentors. "Dawnpelt, Spiderwebs, Dovewhisker! We are on patrol! Meet me in the clearing outside the tunnel," Autumnstar called.

The 'paws played on the way to the border but are now rubbing their scent on trees and bushes. Dovewhisker, spiderwebs, and Dawnpelt decided to hunt first. Autumnstar heard a scream of surprise and fear. "You three continue marking the border I have to check something out."
They nodded and didn't argue. Autumnstar ran towards the scream and saw Dawnpelt pinned down by a Windclan warrior. "Sagefeather," Autumnstar snarled at the winclan warrior. "Autumnstar," the she-wolf snarled back. "Get off my terriotory Sagefeather," Autumnstar growled.
The she-wolf didn't move. Autumnstar attacked and Sagefeather dodged. She planted her paws, skidded, then turned and pounced on Sagefeather again. This Autumnstar didn't miss. Digging her claws into the windclan warriors pelt, Autumnstar snarled again. "Get out of my territory!"
The windclan she-wolf nodded and got away from Autumnstar's grip and ran to her own territory. "Now that that is taking care of... Who here is injured?" No one moved but motioned to Autumnstars side. Autumnstar felt dizzy then collapsed to the ground. Everything went dark.

Autumnstar woke in the medicine den. "W-why am. I. Here?" she asked then groaned. A claw mark from her shoulders to her hind-legs stung. Stumblefoot motioned for her to not talk. Her finished putting cobwebs on the wound. "This is a killing wound, Autumnstar. I am afraid your life is seeping away from you. Dovewhisker told me what happened." Autumnstar nodded then layed her head down on her paws. The moment she closed her eyes was the moment her last breath seeped away.
