Ilya took one side of it and left the strap/ girth hanging down, positioning it on top of the saddle pad, "Looks like the students are gathering. Off you go. I'll do the rest."

You unlocked the stable door, entered, didn't close the door, kept it unlocked, woke Blaze and she glared at you, standing up, staring out into the stable yard before stretching her neck, walking out, treading on your toe on the way.

Ouch. She thought wincing slightly at the pain. Crystal walked carefully trying to avoid Blaze's stepping range and followed the horse.

Blazes tail swished and she cantered away down the yard. You heard shouting and someone ran out after, grabbing the horses neck and throwing themselves onto the back, trying to get her to slow down without using reins or any sort of tack. Blaze spooked and went into a gallop, disappearing out of sight and behind the stable where more shouting continued as two others followed. The fourth walked up to you, "What do you think you're doing, letting a horse out of their stall with nothing and spooking them! Want to cause an accident?" he was the man from earlier you'd led you in and he looked angry.
