Ah, yes, Daedalus' story. It's pretty tragic.
Yep. I can name many, many gods from all the mythologies that I have said I am proficient in. Most of them i can also say what they are gods of.
Well, yeah, by middle school, I was reading college level as well. Gone With the Wind isn't necessarily a college level book... or maybe it is, I don't know. But it is a very thick book. I read the whole thing.
I am writing it in Google Docs so I can share it with friends. It's fantasy, with the traditional plot of a small group of heroes going off to save the world.
I've been working on art since the sixth grade. I have traditional down and am starting the journey into the digital age. Also, since my parents aren't artists or very artistic in the sense of pencil, paint, and paper, I am mostly self taught, since I found school art classes were lacking.

Noice ;w; I... I memorized... gods in a video game I play... um...
Gone with the Wind has a 1100 lexus reading level score, if that means anything to you
I don't really like sharing with my friends... they're not as honest as strangers on the interwebs ;-; Sounds nice! Traditional plots have a wide appeal and are timeless, so it's a great idea to go with one and an excellent investment of time ;w;
I have an artistic lineage... but no natural talent myself. My art teacher is super into abstract, which I'm super... not... into. But having the time in his class to just fool around with art stuff does give me much needed practice time, so there is that. Otherwise, I mostly just took random ideas from other people that sounded good and forced myself to get a reasonable art style... I've designed T-shirts for summer camps and was invited to do art for a manga and my sister's friends' 'video game' (both of which i turned down, the video game just never happened :P)

*sticks head in for two seconds*
Writing.
*glances surreptitiously at Google Drive full of blank documents titled stuff like 'Thingy I Shall Write Eventually'*
*cough*
(Click for bigger image xD)
Inside are some fancy blank tables and 'qwertyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnm'
Gods. Yep. I like mythology. Surprisingly, I'm not well-versed in Chinese mythology. But then there aren't a bunch of books about that.
In... 5th? grade, I was at 13.0, which is college or something (at least that's what everyone said, but 5th graders aren't always reliable sources of information), but as most of my class was at 5-6, that's good, I guess?
Everyone (casually): Oh yeah, I'm writing something (*insert plot that sounds awesome*)
Me: *sweats* Oh, I, uh, also, yes, too.
I... need to do something about that xD
I can't just have a plot idea and then write from there, I need a whole detailed outline of everything that happens every chapter before I write or else I hit a wall and sustain a concussion. I mean, for longer stories, that is. Short ones are fine. If I got kicked a decent bit into the story, I'm sure I'd be able to carry it the rest of the way.
My kind-of friends either aren't... that great at writing fiction, aren't interested in talking about writing even if they are really good, or are like, "Writing? Eww!"
My (168 IQ) dad is really good at art (although he rarely does it, because he's busy doing Photoshop things and watching engineering videos in his spare time). Sometimes he sketches on scrap paper while patiently waiting for me to make sense of the theorems he just dumped on my head.
I, on the other hand, try to draw with the wrong side of the pencil for 2 seconds before realizing it.
I'm sure I could learn to draw well if I tried and practiced, but I seem to have issues focusing on doing so xD. Like, I always get bored and forget about it, then come back the next day because my math notebook looks so tempting and blank, long enough to draw a marginally straighter stick figure. Maybe that's the same reason I haven't written anything yet, I probably need to be pressured into doing something for a decent amount of time.
No, I'm not that person who actually draws amazingly but is like "Oh my gosh, I suck" and tries to cover their amazing drawings. I freaking can't (or at least don't have the patience to) draw that well.
Also, anyone have anything to challenge me on ornithology?
Yes, yes, I'm a phys/math major in Science Bowl, but my captain knows to give me all the bird-related bio questions xD
Now that I think about it, all of my notable usernames are all bird-related. Icewing, Owlphoenix, Canawlia, Phoenixia, TweetTreats, Larkien... I mean, this current one is kind of the name of one of my OCs (who got stuck as some immortal guardian of some thing so he wouldn't die after defending someone so that they could disable a sinister magical thingy, but ended up dying 20+ years later anyways in the previous person's kid's adventure), but still.
As long as it's not history, I'm fine... dates are the only numbers that don't stick in my head. Random trivia is good, too.
While I'm checking in for my reduced time during the day, I'd just like everyone to know that the average woman consumes 4-9 pounds of lipstick a year.
Um...
I said I was only writing short forum posts...
Welp. I gotta go again, spent all my time writing that. *returns to semi-hiatus hole*
Happy holidays, everyone.
I... have no idea what my avi is... meh.
