It was another instant death as your teeth latched onto it's neck and snapped it's spinal cord. The other chicken was still wary, it didn't seem to notice at first but as seconds passed the lack of the other two chickens clucking made it more cautious. Now it had stopped eating and began moving away from the area. It had already been wary before but as soon as the clucking of the other chickens stopped even it could figure out something had happened.

As you followed him, his footsteps seemed to grow quieter. It wasn't a distant noise though, it was more like he was forcing himself to run lighter to be stealthy and cover up the sound of his movements. For a while you could just barely make out the sound of his footsteps then they vanished all together even though he was only about 30ft ahead of you.

It was strange, upon opening the book you realized it was empty. You quickly looked through each page to find them all blank. By the time you finished Kyla had reappeared, she was holding the pendant. She looked up at you then looked to the book, "What's this?!" she pulled it towards her to inspect it, causing a small yellow concoction to fall, it fell right on the still open book. As it touched the book a small explosion of colors overwhelmed you and Kyla. It was like the concoction had exploded. When the flash of light finally faded you looked back at the book to find words that had previously not been there on the pages, the book now held sketches of strangest creatures and a few parts of the text were in some some ancient language you strangely understood. But when you looked at Kyla she didn't seem to see a thing, "...Why are the pages blank? That's strange..." she passed the book back to you then held out her pendant, "Look at what I found! Isn't it beautiful?!"

i decide to make the end of its life slow, terrifying and painful, i follow the chicken, and nip its feet, i grow venomous fangs to bite it with, and i bite its tail, to make it death slow, and wait, for the chicken to die (im fridge sinacle, lord knows where that came from ;>;)

Your were in different classes but the rooms were close to each other. His class was only two doors to the left of yours, on the other hand the rude guy from before and one of the girls that was with him earlier had the same class as you.

I continue in the direction he was headed.

It took off at a run, trying to escape it's pursuer. Blood began dripping from it's wounds and it's movements was causing the blood to flow faster. It tripped over a small root sticking out of the ground and tumbled through the underbrush for a few seconds before getting back and continuing it's clumsy escape.

He comes across another hallway and turns left without considering where he was going. He seemed pretty sure of himself for someone who couldn't even find the nurses office the day before.. Seconds after he turned the corner you heard a noise that sounded like something skidding on the ground.
