Once you said Nixies, I knew you were right, Space. They are majorly popular. I do think you guys have helped the Vorpa popularity. It's always good to chat to others about your obsession interest. I'd say you should blow your own horn, but alas, I think you sold it.

Thanks for the nurtures. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has their some of their least favourite traits spawn forth at entirely the wrong moment. Over and over again. I might tease you less about the wings. Or not. ;)

"Modest? Why yes, I'm quite proud of how modest I am."

*Ba dum tss*

Thanks for the group, it's funtastic. :)

Oh my stars, Lotus Scales!!!! *squeels* She's gorgeous! (I don't much care for the Leafy Seadragon traits, either, but still...)

LOTUS SCALES!!!!

(Believe me, I was kinda annoyed when MY pair of DL BOTH hatched with Sharp Webbing, and trait disruptors didn't exist at that point)

Lol. I think that happens to is all when we start on something we like. I know I'm sure that way!

Edit: Your baby has hidden Seaweed Whirlwind! I just check out of curiosity!

Erk, both of them with Sharp Webbing. On the one hand, yay vis! On the other, it's always the traits you'd place to the back of your list. I sort of wish disruptors still weren't a thing. It's like extra gambling for wishes.

I've used three disruptors on one of my Nessies (because Leafy Seadragon!) and I'm still not keen on him. He's become, by far, the most expensive pet I have and I'm tempted to throw him out of the nearest airlock. I sort of wish I'd left him alone, because I preferred him before, even with the LS.

The Lotus Scales is fab though, right?! I mean, yay! I can't wait to see those incorporated into the mix of your project. :D

Ooooh! I, well, okay. I'll forgive her weird headpiece for those two shinies.

'I'll forgive her weird headpiece'
Lol, Celuwen! (I literally burst out laughing when I read that)

Yeah, I don't really like the disruptors, either. Mostly because I'm afraid I'll get a trait I absolutely hate, and partly because I can't afford them. (And there's usually at least one trait in each species that I at least dislike. There are a few I outright detest, though not many)

I don't dislike Sharp Webbing, but I do still wish one of the two had something different. I mean, they both even have the same hidden: Petal Fins (which looks awful on the DL in my opinion, which is odd, considering I usually like that trait)

My foray into the disruptors has made me decide not to use them again. I'm not saying never, but I've got better, Vorpier things to spend my gold/diamonds on. I can understand people using them and the pricing of them. Having an item for the rare moments you just cannot stand your 3-vis exclusive, and no one will trade, is great. I just got carried away, becoming more and more horrified by the abomination creation I made.

I mean, 900 diamonds/4-5 million gold for a pet that I still have to squint at slightly. Not the best place to pitch my tent, so to speak!

I don't think there's anything other than the LF heads I absolutely do not like. Most of the traits can be lovely on the right theme/colour scheme/pet. Petal Fins isn't the best on DL, I agree. I think the pink of the flowers just isn't enough of a contrast against the black and can look drab. If the C2 was the same as G3, it'd look a lot snappier: (I've also replaced the M1 with the G2 colour)

Sooo, another post. Hopefully not being too annoying.

I managed to trade for another boy DL Vorpa today:

I used another Trait Disruptor on my Nessie Vorpa. (I know, I know, the post. I still had three of them though, so it almost doesn't count. Probably.)

Anyway, fourth time's a charm! Check him out:

1200 diamonds, however. I'm slightly appalled with myself.

How are you all getting on? Readying your Winter designs? :D

Well, Celuwen...I think you won the trait scrambler game. Llewellyn is handsome and shiny and full of the goodness. For cereal, that fish is worth it.

As for some other very worthwhile fish, I have negotiated for a Dark Love at long last! I'm just waiting to pick it up (Vulpie is too sweet, and won't tell me what they want in exchange for it). Adult preview:

Since Celuwen's latest DL girl has that Seaweed Whirlwind hidden carry, I think this boy could help bring it out in her offspring if you want to 86 those Leafy ears and preserve the Lotus Scales! I think you know you want to... Also, I want a girl version of this fella, so...

He's gorgeous, Frawn. Truly. Congrats!

Mist had already convinced me to keep my Lotus Scales/Seaweed Whirlwind gal. And my experience with the disruptors has put me off a bit anyway*. My Lotus girl is of course open for breeding. I'd like an egg too, because wow. (Boy for me, of course)

Mist might be dancing at this point. The cha cha of project happiness. :D

(Vulpie is a sweetie, I agree. She was always giving items/pets away during the Festival.)

* - Until next time, let's be honest. :P

Frawn, that boy is gorgeous!
If I can get sea Fur and Music Headfins on one DL, I can probably bring those two traits out as vis.
I have at least one with vis mystic headfins, but I just got my first baby with sea fur.

Celuwen. Yes, I am! I love both of those traits, along with the Floating Lotus and Encroaching Seaweed, which have made it into the mix.

We can surely bring those traits out as a vis!
