Fallenflight/star dashed forward while Echolight/star hung back. Overwhelmed by the sudden amount of new cats, the fox fled with it's tail between it's legs. The tom let out a victory yowl before looking at the new cats, backing off, "W-was it your prey? I-I'm sorry.." he seemed extremely nervous now, scared by the cats. He looked over at Cinderstrike, "Kuin! I saw this fox chasing Kingu earlier.. so I lured it away. Are you both alright?" Cinderstrike nodded, "This kind clan cat has let us join their clan. I'm now Cinderstrike, he is Thornkit." she waved her tail at her small kit.

I avert my attention from she-cat, and ignore there conversation. I instead focus on the Kit and its Mother.

Softsand follows close behind you, still watching the dog nervously. one slip and you were it's kill. Finally, you reach the end of the garden and jump into the next one. The garden is beautifully arranged, there is no one there. In the door is a cat-flap with the smell of food wafting out of it.

Although I heard Fallenstars question I did not answer, only gave her a whisk from my tail as a response

I stopped examining the Kit an just hummed. I didn't face the Tom but pointed my tail in his direction. "Sorry, im just a bit-" I glace towards the Mountains "-On Edge" I finish.

I turn around to face him "Im-" I pause and consider it" "-Echolight"

You and Snowfall pad along the lush forest floors and soon reach the river to the burnt forest, as you leap over, Snowfall looks half than happy "you can't expect me to ruin my pads, right? I heard it from my upwalkers, there's no survivors"

"You are probably right" I sigh. "We should go back through the Twoleg Place and head for the fields" I say thoughtfully. "I also need to learn to hunt better, it's a skill I never really mastered" I grin sheepishly.
