You don't see him so he is probably still asleep. As you stand there the rain has become just a heavy drizzle. Now to work on finding a way over, or perhaps work on your leaping skills.
I growl and practice my leaping skills, finding a tall pile of rocks and practicing jumping up to it.

In the dawns light you can see an old female moose wandering about 100 feet ahead of you. She still has not noticed your presence.

You can hear pawsstep near you. You can also scent the wolf you smelt earlier. They smell young, still with the traces of pup scent on them

Irika Flattened her ears knowing she would likely not catch the moose less bring it down on her own, But It would be a good chance to sharpen her skills, So she crouched down as she inched closer before Giving chase being sure not to stray unnecessarily
