She wriggled out of your grasp, panting, blood streaming down her face in rivers. "You!" She half snarled have screeched. "You! You will pay for this! Selfish... Arrogant... Fool!" She pointed her knife at you with a shaking hand. "You can go now... yes... do that! But I will hunt you down! Let the sky know! I will not rest until my work is done!" She yelled the last part, and retreated back into the alleys. The women were already long gone.

"You do not, and will not scare me, try as you might." He said, tone turning icy. "Learn to respect, human. I will repeat myself. Do you have any questions? I'm afraid I cannot answer the two you've just asked me." The other people in the room were still chatting with each other, oblivious to, or ignoring, what was happening on your side.

He waited for you at the top and when you finally reached where he was, he hustled you down a fabulously furnished hallway, with marble walls lined with gold and a plush red carpet under your feet that felt like walking on clouds. Xan led you to the second door on the right. "You can stay here, I hope it is to your enjoyment! We apologize that this room is one of the worst guest rooms in the place, but it's not the worst. It's the best we can do, seeing the others are occupied." He ushered you inside. It was more like a suite than a bedroom, and had it's own private balcony. The room you were currently in seemed to be a living room sort of thing, and Xan led you to a door at the end of the end of the living room which he called "plain", and opened the door, revealing a second room, probably the bedroom.

"Oh, yes!" He exclaims, pulling open a door at the side of the bedroom. "This is the bathroom."

Bathroom:


"There are windows, yes, but nobody will look when you're bathing, because nobody is out there. It's just the garden. However, if you're still uncomfortable with it, there are curtains."

"Welcome, Crystal. No need to be so tensed up." Whoever was on the throne reveals themselves to be male through voice. "You must be quite confused, waking up in a room and finding yourself here. So, I will grant you this: Any questions?"

Crystal tried to look relaxed, but she always felt nervous around other people. Well I might as well know where I am. It might help me unless I am in the middle of nowhere. "Where am I?" she asked her voice soft. She twitched her fingers nervously. She hated being around other people. Also I need to be careful that I don't offend them. She thought to herself trying to take deep breaths.

Crystal relaxed a little. The world not to be mentioned sounded foreboding. Should I ask about the voice in my head. It might be better just to ask. But what if they don't know anything about it. Crystal took a deep breath and asked, "Do you know anything of a round or other people doing it? or a voice that popped into my head when I first arrived?" The questions tumbled from her mouth before she could stop them and she looked at the person on the throne nervously.

"Hmm... that about the voice, I'm afraid I cannot answer that. It's more classified information. However, what I can tell you is... Right now we are in the country of Lalune, located in a lush jungle somewhere in the center of Solaris. And, what do you mean by 'know anything of a round or other people doing it'?"

Micah simply gaped in astonishment. This... This is one of your worst?! How? This is the most incredible place to stay I have ever seen! Yes, this definetly works for me! He grinned widely, seeming twice as childish as he already was, like a kid being told they had a free hour in a candy shop.

"Yes, we apologize if it's not good enough." Xan smiled sheepishly and bowed. "I'll give you some time to get used to the place, organise your stuff. I'll be back in some time, and make sure you're then ready to meet the Lord." He backed out of the room, closing the door behind him.
