Just bast the river is where the treeline started, you were bound to find shelter there

I alight by the treeline, snorting a puff of air as I landed and folded my wings. I enter the forest, voices in my head telling me to be careful.

the forest was Quiet and dark and Damp as if it had rained recently and you could smell something... or someone nearby
