Nicote watched the birds fly up, chuckling. "He's gonna kill us for this, you know that right?"

She shrugged. "Not my problem."

Taeri smiled, still sensing the energy, settling down at the base of a tree to watch.

Alcove looked over from where she was sitting. Holding back a laugh, she rested her head on the grass.

Astra laughed at their reactions, to Nicote she said. "Looks like your brother is good at comedy."

Newt scrambled up the tree. trying to be stealthy. Then he saw the birds. He facepalmed himself, slid back down, (landing on his bottom) and asked, "Why is everyone laughing?"confused.



nicote just tried dnot to gie away ihis position. Turning to Astrana, he shook his head. "Nah, he's just clumsy. BUt he's also pretty much my polar opposite anyway."

Deciding to have some fun at Newt's expense, Taeri cast a simple illusion of Astra and Nicote 'hiding' be hind a bush, peeking around at him.

Newt noticed the illusion. "Hi! You two! Where in the world have you been?" he ylled. He stormed over, and thrust his dagger at "nicote"


the real nicote could barely speak.

Astra giggled changing the illusion to a frozen Newt.

Astra said to Nicote. "Really, I couldn;t tell."

The two illusions vanished, and two new ones appeared, this time behind a pair of different bushes, and not peeking around.
