The girl (you can't tell which one, the one with glasses took them off and put her hair into a ponytail as well) keeps slipping just out of you reach

Mateo suddenly lunges and hits her target.

"Orkhanna Powel-wait, no Caterina-wait, um...The otehr Powell twin." The coach gives up. She grins and joins her twin (who highfives her)

I'll back up, letting him come to me, if the shield is a sphere around him once he can touch me I should be inside his shield and be able to hit back. Although I do start building up warmth over my whole body so that if anyone tried to touch me it might sting a little.

I sigh, dissappointed that we'd lost but offer Mateo a quiet job well done before heading over to Owen and Mike.

Tracey (who has to repeat herself to be heard) says something about how she should've watched her back. One of the twins corrects her, says they should've put someone with her since she could only focus on one person at a time.

I bite my lip nervously, there could be a number of reasons I supposed. And I didn't want to seem cocky or egotistical in my answer.

Nicote and Mateo look lie they'r ethinging simillar thoughts.

However, Meinke raises his hand and the Coach calls o nhim.

"Nicote kept moving around so it was harder to focus on him in the begining. Later Mateo used the same technique back at him. Everyone was also focusing on people like Tracey, Owen, and Mike who could do long ranged attacks or on people with Gifts that are kind of useless in this istuation like Newt and Caterina so Dray was able to keep from having his target touched just by not being on etierh end of the spectrum."
