You requested this pet from my hatchery. He was not listed as for sale and only pets that are listed for sale are up for adoption. Since he's not for sale he's not up for adoption.

Since this thread is first come, first serve whoever picks a particular pet first is the one who gets it. Someone has already requested this pet so it is no longer up for adoption. I'm waiting for them to pick him up. They have 7 days to do so and if he's not been picked up by that time then you are free to claim him.

I understood why I couldn't get the other two pets, I'm just not sure what 'set up' means or how to claim the pet.

When I say set up that means that a pet is ready to be purchased. That means that I take your user ID and make it so that you are the only that can "purchase" that pet. That way no one else is able to buy that pet. Most of the time people are pretty prompt in picking up/"purchasing" their pets from this thread so it hasn't really been a problem that someone requests a pet that another user has already claimed.

By claiming I mean that one user has already requested a pet and that pet essentially belongs to them. Basically a user by the name of Horseflower posted before you that she wanted the black Vulnyx from my stable. Since she posted first she gets the pet. If she doesn't pick him up in the next 6 days then she no longer has a claim on him(the rule is a user has 7 days to pick up a requested pet and after that time period said pet can then be requested by another user). Horseflower requested that particular pet yesterday(1/22/2014) thus she has 6 more days to pick him up.

Now all I have to do is go claim the pets that have been 'set' for me and I'm all good right?
(And of course I didn't even care to check the posts of people in the past 7 days despite the time limit. Then again that might have been a lot of posts...so probably a good thing I didn't spend that much time on it. I'm just going to go now and stop talking. >.<)

First of all, I'd like to give a big thank you to all the users donating these pets to new users. They're gorgeous, and the generosity you're all displaying really makes me smile. And of course, a huge thanks to Visenkha for organizing the whole thing.

Once I get myself up and running on this site, I would really like to be able to join in and pay the generosity that you've shown me forward to more new users. :)

I've checked these pets over about seven times, so I think I've selected only pets I'm allowed to choose from. Please let me know if they're not, and I apologize in advance if I slipped up. Also, I didn't browse the posts before me, so if one is already spoken for I completely understand! My fault for not looking. :)
