Greetings to those of you whom have been PINGed to this edition of Celt's reviews, feedback, comments, and suggestions. If you were alerted to this post, please find your name below and see what I have to say about your designs to you. If a request/notation for change is asked of you, you will need to make those changes prior to deadline. Remember to PING me when you do a heads up about it, or it will go missed and not be included in the next round of updates. If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. Otherwise, good luck and keep up the amazing work that you all do!

~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

@Limor....I always enjoy what you bring to the table each and every week. You have a unique talent to make some of the weirdest combos work beautifully together. I like that. And with this challenge, that still rings true. The only thing I noticed, is that you have played it a bit safe with this challenge. You did follow the directions, but you swapped colors hexes that were just slight if not mild versions of what was already there, while others clearly were complete swap outs. C1 is the only one hon that needs to remain the same. I would like for you to try play with the color swapping a little more for your designs. Take a leap, because I sure as heck know you are talented enough to pull off some truly amazing things!

@Blackcat7....You did very well this week Blackcat! You stepped up to the plate and delivered with 3 well crafted designs. Your "Sun Touched" design was pretty close in colors, and the only real one I had an issue with. Maybe play around with the colorations to make a bit more vibrant pop/contrast to make them(traits) stand out a little more from each other might spice it up a little more? I mean you can see the color difference, but they are really close in colors. Apart from that, I really like the nixi design. It is a beautiful swift between male and female. Not only that, but I enjoy the choices you made in the design process of your "Desert Explorer" design. Otherwise, keep up the awesome work that you do.

@BookishFlower....I like your puffadore. It is cute and a bit trendy in a way in my opinion. The colors work nicely together. My only issue is that it was set at a size 250 which exceeds the requirement to be 240 or less. If you chance that out, your design will be spot on. Just don't forget to PING me that you changed it, otherwise it will go missed during the next update phase.

@Articu....I feel that this week, your designs were both elegantly done and done well. With your Aurleon design, I like how the lightening trait of the wings was muted just enough so that it actually looks good. It is hard to make that work right at least where I have tried. And your nixi design was cute. For me it has a bit of a country vibe to it even. Really well done there. The only real issue with your designs is that the coloration of both designs are slightly too similar. There is enough differences for your designs to be noticeably different to a degree and there by eligible...But don't be afraid to make noticeable differences in say contrasting colors in future endeavors. Otherwise, keep it up hon!

@Lenore....Your designs were nicely done. I admit though, I really do like your Kelpari over the Lunemara though. It has nice contrast and the colors work well together. I know that might not have been worded quite right, but I hope you can understand what I meant by that. If not, let me know and I will try again to explain that part. The only real issue I noticed was that you have a few slotted traits with the same color outside of the required C1. That is ok, a few members are having that same issue. But like them, I want you to try and take a leap of faith so to speak. Play around with the colors a little more and swap them. The only one that needs to remain the same is C1. Other than that, very well done!

@Amberwing....You have a great and wonderful start to your designs. However, too many of your slotted traits are the same color for both genders in each design. Only the C1 trait is needed to remain the same. You will need to swap the colors outside of C1 between the genders while using the same number of colors in each design. If you need help, please review the examples given in the challenge post and or ask for further assistance from anyone. I ask that you please do this before deadline to become eligible for possible placement in the top 3 and ETF posts. PING me when you have completed that.

@Pokebellpuff....You have a very soft yet pretty pink and silvery almost white design. I really like how the lupora turned out over all. I do however, think you played it a little safe with keeping the eye the same then branching out a little bit. Remember to take that leap of faith and play around with colors. The only one that needed to remain the same was C1. Experiment if you will. Otherwise, keep up the great work you do. And I look forward to seeing more from you in the future.

@Shimeree....I believe you did amazing well this week. Your nixi design came out extremely well done. The shift is clearly seen. Your rini is nicely done as well, to the point the colors even beautifully go together. Very well done there. And your rikki reminds me of bubble gum and or cotton candy. I really like that one too. The only thing I think you should do, is work on the placement of your listed hex coding. The one above the male rikki looks like it is going with the nixi. Maybe place it below the male so it stands out better?

@Dragongem23....You made an absolutely beautiful Kelpari design. The only thing really wrong, is that it exceeds the size requirement. Please resize it to 240 or less. Please do that before deadline, and PING me a heads up when you do.

@Ammythesta....You have really stepped it up this week with the color swap challenge. I feel that your kelpari design was elegantly done and really pops. It is very over all eye catching. I am not too keen on the valentine trait. It is just a bit distracting on the darker designs, and takes away from them a little. The other thing I noticed is that your EC and C1 are the same. The only one that should be the same is C1. Please try playing around with the colors a bit and swap around the EC colors a little. Otherwise, keep up the great work that you are doing!!!

@Annoyed....Your design is extremely colorful, and vibrant. I really like and enjoy what I am seeing there. Very well done there. There are 2 issues that need attention. 1 needs to be corrected before deadline. That being, the size of your designs exceed the size requirement. Please resize to 240 or less before deadline. Also, you have multiple color slots that are the same color. The only one that should be the same for each design is C1. Try and play around with the colors a little more. Otherwise, keep up the awesome work you do, and PING me when you have made at least the size change request.

ENTRIES THUS FAR - Post 1
The "Color Swap" Challenge

From the very beginning we have had a great start to this challenge. So many designs already have been submitted. I am so very please with the progress we are all making together, and your hard work truly has not gone unnoticed. I ask that you all please keep it up, and keep moving forward. Push yourselves, and challenge yourselves by taking risks and trying new things. Such things like this challenge is asking you to do, is playing around with colors. Swapping them around then what you normally would have thought to do and see what becomes of it. Try new species. The ones you typically would have a hard time designing with and or traits and seeing what becomes of it. Because if you don't challenge yourselves in any way, then you will never see how far you truly can go. That is why we arrange a wide variety of challenges. From simple to hard, and everything in between. Even the most seasoned of designers have trouble with the simplest of tasks, so there is room always to improve.

For now though, please have a look at the designs below. They are from the designers that have met all the requirements for this color swapping challenge. If you do not see your designs below, then that means you haven't completed all requirements. Haven't submitted a design yet...And or you posted after an update. Outside of that, if you don't see your designs it could be that you were asked to change something, and did not PING me a heads up. I will not add updates that are not PINGed. No worries though, there is still plenty of time before deadline to get that done. Just remember to PING me if you have any updates, have submitted a design, and or have any questions. Until then good luck!

So I am going to redo some things with my post later. I forgot to save my kelpari so im gonna end up replacing it. Also writing down all the colors is sadly very tedious because i cant screenshot and/or copy and paste them.

Tried to fiddle a little with the Sun-Touched female design and swapped some colors differently, and I think it looks a LITTLE better. It's not the best, but It's presentable now.
