The Wheel....all in all, i liked it, but was depressed that i only got 20 Frost Tokens, a Lesser Genetic Mutator, and a Rare Winter Festival Item. :( But it was fun, never knowing what you'd get. :)

Just my little input on the 'door to door' caroling, if possible, maybe there should be a special search button for people to type in usernames to go to someone's door as sometimes people have to do some bit of quick searching for someone's ID, I think that kinda would help a lot..,and perhaps a way to greet people at the doors faster would be nice too since some people ended up with last 100 carollers, ROFL, and maybe a smaller prize for people who aren't at the top too? Just so some players won't feel left out? Thanks.

I enjoyed the Winter Festival very much...I received enough of the outfits that I was able to share duplicates with a couple people. I will be happy to try winning holiday pet next year.

Looking forward to seeing what the next one brings!

Good job, guys!

I pretty much enjoyed everything XD the wheel was particularly fun and I managed to get lucky XD!

The only thing I have issues with is the door to door game, but that is for my own personal reason of my internet which I have brought up before XD! The door to door is just heavy with images that tears through my net >.< so I pretty much avoided it all together until the very end of the festival. The concept is fine and even though its simple clicking its enjoyable. I also liked it a lot more that there was only a positive outcome, I dunno the trick or treat thing was too easy to exploit and it was always like THAT PERSON TRICKED ME?! *tear* :P.

The festival zone was great and worked a tonne better with more joining paths, I didn't spend as much time as I would have liked to in it, again because of the heavy image loading over time :( but the ice queen encounter was great and much nicer having it put in that one area than effect the whole zone!

Keep being awesome! <3 Amirell

Another successful holiday! As so many have already stated, I really appreciate all the hard work it must have taken to pull this off. I am glad to hear you'll be separating the two fests a little more though. I personally would also trade a few of the bells and whistles (ie the plethora of avatar items) for a quicker roll-out. Don't get me wrong, the avatar items are beautiful! But there were MANY (and I'm one of those type-A collector people, but that's my problem not yours). I do very much appreciate the drop rates though. I was much less frustrated this fest than in the fall, although I suppose I had more time to give as well.

On caroling - I don't really have any opinions on changing the excitement level of it, but i will say the first few days presents were sold in the diamond shop I was a little sad. I am all for people supporting the site (I do when I can! promise!), and I know you guys have to make money to keep going, but i don't feel like you should ever have the opportunity to win a contest by throwing money at it. To be clear this is not a dig on anyone who bought presents by any means whatsoever! Thank you for supporting a site I love - and for the presents you gave me! :) This is only a dig on the mechanics of the contest. My sadness was mostly alleviated when cheer tickets were sold in the diamond shop, and presents became available in game - a much better way to go in my opinion.

I also couldn't help but notice upon logging in during fest that selling pets (or other things) in live chat is against the rules. However, the majority of chat during fest is people selling pets. It makes sense to be able to let other people know, "hey I have ____ fest pet in front of me and I don't want it." But at the same time, there were quite a few people advertising stable sales, and item sales, sales sales sales, which can be rather frustrating. I don't really know what I'm suggesting here, more of a, this is a discussion that should be opened kind of thing. Basically though, if the rules aren't going to be or can't be enforced, they should probably be adapted.

Last but not least, I was sad that I didn't see a "Design a Winter Pet" Thread before this holiday. Did problems arise from the last one? lack of time? Whatever the case, I hope a way is worked out to allow more user input in the future. I found the Fall Fest pets much prettier for the most part. And I was a little sad that with some of the color variations, some of the genes were hard to see.

Regardless of all that, I had a wonderful time. My wardrobe is much more full, my stables are brimming, and I'm flat broke :D That means it was a grand success!

The pet spawn rate was kind of disappointing, but oh well XD

I think this festival overall was so much better than the fall festival. Wasting hours on end and not finding any themed pets was super depressing. The fact that you guys listened and made it possible to opt out of the fight was amazing and super appreciated. I actually LOVED the dynamic event this time around. I am sure everyone remembers me whinging on about it during the FF, I was so frustrated with the zombies. I actually looked forward to the bandits! Their difficulty was perfect and the fact that they dropped items was GENIUS!
As someone already mentioned I think leaving out the merchant was a terrible thing. Being a new player during the FF the merchant was my lifeline. I had no other way to get higher level nets. She was a godsend and I kept waiting to see her emerge, and was sad that she didn't make an appearance. The spawn rates being as low as they were coupled with new players possibly not even getting the chance to catch the very few pets they did manage to find...kinda sucks.

The only other thing I can really say is when changing up the door to door games I would LOVE to not have the pop up telling me the point breakdown. It shows us in the lower box, and for me having to close the pop up after every person is beyond tedious. It doesn't take a lot of time but when you are going through hundreds of people it's just an added annoyance. I don't answer my door for points. I don't really participate in the event for a rank or anything. I trade gifts/candy/whatever and I really only answer my door so that the people knocking can get their points because they put the time in to knock and I don't want them to lose out. It is so boring to me though so even a few precious seconds closing the pop up seems like an eternity.

Thank you so much for everything you guys do and for listening to us! It is such a treat to be able to give you guys feedback and watch the games grow from something good into something amazing! We love you guys :D

The first thing that I was most pleased with was the holiday shop. We had more than enough time to stock up on frost tokens, but frost tokens were just the right difficulty to obtain, so buying what we wanted from the shop was very satisfying and we had a lot of variety. I think the shop was perfect this festival. I loved the festival zone and the dynamic event was a lot better than the horseman's event.

My only real complaint was that the wheel gave us scanners and test kits, both were fairly common from mysterious gifts in the festival zone and wrapped gifts. I'm glad to see though that you've already figured out how to fix that. I think you've gotten spot on to what the festivals should be like. Fun and challenging.

I loved the wheel of festive cheer - I tried to ration the amount I was spending on it. Loved the pets; didn't really need the test kits, but otherwise, all had a place to go (I sold the presents since you couldn't open them). I didn't go caroling since I was just getting used to the site and was trying to train my creatures - maybe next year. I also still have a reindeer. I tried to give it to Mrs Frost but she told me to go fight the Ice queen (did that once and quickly lost interest, it took so long) so I wasn't going to do that again. All in all, I liked the season festivities. Can't wait to see what Valentines day brings!

I won't pretend I read everyone's wonderful messages. But I wanted to put in my own.

The Carolling got a little boring for me, I wanted to originally try for a shot at the leaderboards but just got too tired of clicking on everything to be honest. XP Other than that it was well-implemented, I had no problems ever using it.

The Wheel and I had a pretty hateful relationship. I got some philters I'll never use as I don't really plan on breeding too much, but the genetic test kits and the pet dyes were nice! I would have liked a chance at a Wheel pet too, they were beautiful. I think having the rarity vary between incarnations of the pets is a nice idea, fully aboard that.

Adventuring in the area was fun! I couldn't plow through it like some users but I managed with the pets that I had, and even got some beautiful new ones to add to my stable. The Ice Queen was a very large challenge - I kept getting the guards down, but couldn't get her in the end. A lot of users seemed to have this problem, but with the rewards being so nice I don't know if you would want to change that at all.

My biggest peeve is that every time I saw something nice it would run away after 1 net. So that was frustrating. And, being a new user, I came across three different 'Epic' pets that I couldn't capture due to not being able to buy nets strong enough to capture them.
