Myra Relabolt of Viridian Meadows

Living in the farm south of Esior's Haven, Myra likes to spend her summers at the coast splashing amidst the sapphire waves.
However, the magic comes out at night-- bioluminescent algae lighting up the waves in a mystical aura. Snorkeling a little way from the beach, glowing jellyfish can be seen.

The Named

Every summer, it was the same for him. He just wanted to have a nice vacation on Esior Cove's beach. Sure, he was a bad guy, but even bad guys needed a vacation, right?

Well, it never worked out for the guy. Every year, he'd pick out his best clothes and head to Esior's Cove. He'd sign under different names, he'd dye his hair, grow it out, but that didn't change a thing. Why? Because every year, somehow, those dang Sylestians recognized him despite his attempts to lay low and be unseen.

A proud Sylestian would call out at him, their stance proud as they pointed their finger at him in challenge, their Sylestis behind them, waiting to back up their beloved companion and trainer. And he would just stand there, shocked, knowing already that he was about to be defeated! He didn't even have his own Sylestis with him to help him in this battle.

He'd soon be engaged in the losing battle, and always, with one last big hit from one of the Sylestis, the world would go black as he was knocked unconscious, his body falling against the sand of the beach!

And like always, he'd find himself waking up with a sunburn and nearly nothing on! The only thing ever left was his tattoo and whatever make-up he had on, since, well, obviously, that couldn't be taken as a prize!
What was up with these Sylestians always stealing his clothes? Wasn't defeating him enough?!

Humiliated, both by his defeat and his lack of clothing, he'd walk around the beach until he found something he could wear until he could get back to the room he had rented and change into something better. This usually being a raggedy old pair of ripped shorts that had washed up that he fastened with a frayed string around the waist, a makeshift wrap using a tattered towel that was hardly even that anymore, and a seashell holding the towel in place.

Many say that if you run into him after a defeat, you'll hear him murmuring under his breath, gaze on the ground, as he angrily spoke of how horrible the Sylestians were for stealing his clothes!

A wonderful inhabitant of the water, who comes to see the evening roses.

There happens to be a little masquerade party on the beach. With a little skill and help, and the guest will have a wonderful dress for the party. Now the rose of the sea is ready to mingle.

summer is the best time for beach parties, the night especially can be really beautiful.

Meet Elara
In the heart of an ancient and enchanted forest, there existed a hidden realm known as Sylestia. This mystical realm was home to all sorts of magical creatures, from graceful fairies to mighty tree spirits. Among them, there lived a deer girl nymph named Elara.

Elara's origins were shrouded in mystery, as even the oldest inhabitants of Sylestia could not recall when she had first appeared. With the lower body of a sleek, graceful deer and the upper body of a young woman, Elara possessed an ethereal beauty that drew the eyes of all who encountered her. Her coat was a shimmering blend of deep browns and soft tans, allowing her to blend seamlessly into the forest foliage.

Despite her enchanting appearance, Elara was known for her cunning and disloyal nature. She possessed an insatiable curiosity for the secrets of Sylestia, often using her intelligence to discover hidden paths, concealed treasures, and forgotten spells. Her nimble movements and knack for stealth made her an adept infiltrator, enabling her to gather information that others might never uncover.

Elara's cunning, however, came at a cost. Her insatiable desire for knowledge often led her to trespass into places meant to be left untouched, and she had little regard for the boundaries that the other inhabitants of Sylestia held dear. This disregard for tradition and loyalty set her apart from her fellow nymphs and creatures, causing tension and unease among the enchanted beings.

Yet, there was no denying her intelligence. Elara's mind was a wellspring of clever strategies and intricate plans, allowing her to outwit adversaries and navigate even the most treacherous situations. Her ability to adapt quickly and think on her feet earned her both admiration and grudging respect from those who witnessed her cunning at work.

Over time, some speculated that Elara's solitary and rebellious nature might stem from her mysterious origins. Some whispered that she was born from a forgotten spell, while others believed her to be a manifestation of the forest's hidden desires. Regardless of the truth, there was no denying that Elara was a unique presence.

As the seasons cycled through Sylestia, Elara's tale continued to unfold. Smart, sneaky, and disloyal, she remained a complex enigma, her motivations known only to herself. And while her actions sometimes sparked controversy, they also showcased the undeniable power of intelligence and adaptability in the face of an ever-changing world.

Meet Elowyn, a Sylesti Ranger! She is one of the individuals tasked by the Ethernian government to protect and conserve sylesti species and their habitats! She helps encourage environmentally aware recreational behaviors in locations like Astryl's Tranquility and the Enigmatic Grotto. Right now, she's working rehabilitating released adolescent qitari who need to be re-introduced to the wild. She also occasionally traps and releases sick or injured sylesti with the help of her partner Callistus. Summer is an especially busy time for Sylesti Rangers, since more people are traveling around Sylestia and spending time outdoors!

THE MISTRESS OF THE NIGHT

No one really knows about her origins, only that you can see her near the evening of the summer. Some believe that she brings the night with her, others believe she follows it, whatever the reason is, you will always see her before nightfall.
