So, I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but how do I claim personal items from trick or treating? I've received several from some people, but they don't show up immediately in my inventory. Am I doing something wrong?

They should be in your Player Trades as a "From: System Admin" item for you to accept/receive. ^^

The shared community Dynamic Zone Event, Diabolical Pumpkins, is now active inside of Umbra's Veil!
Simply enter and explore the zone and look at the "Zone Progression" section in the bottom right area of the exploration window to follow the event.
The event has multiple stages. The first stage is to just simply defeat a bunch of Hallowed Reapers. Once the community has reached the goal, the event will automatically progress to the next stage. The "real" event is considered to begin upon reaching Stage 2. The initial stage is more-or-less just the preparation/downtime inbetween events.
The event will run and re-run continuously for the entire duration of the Fall Festival. So if you miss a specific event, don't worry, there will always be another one. As soon as the event concludes, it will recycle back to Stage 1.
Please keep in mind, this is a brand new event. There will probably be some bugs and hiccups. There will most definitely be some balancing issues for rewards and difficulty. Do not worry! I will be monitoring everything and adjusting things as needed. Just sit back, enjoy, and farm some evil-themed monsters!
Another note, currently, there are no Zombified Themed Pets for the non-wild species. These will be added - probably tomorrow.
Good luck, have fun, and thank you for your patience.

First iteration of our new event has finished and without too many hiccups! Thank you to everyone who participated and persevered through the difficulty. =)
On that note, I will be making a lot of changes to multiple aspects of the event. It may take a couple days to get everything adjusted, so please be patient while I get through the changes. Remember, this event will be available for the remainder of the Festival, so you'll have ~a month to participate in it once it's finalized.
I will also be seriously looking into adding a way for players to choose their own difficulty for Festival Zones rather than me decide for you based on your party/progression. This is a considerable implementation though, so it's not something I can implement overnight. My goal will be to try and get this implemented sometime this week or by next weekend.
I think such an addition will make a huge difference where everyone can enjoy the Festival Zones in their own way. It has always been a very difficult issue to balance as there are just so many different tiers of "combat power" players have and no real way for me to break it down in a one-size-fits-all approach.
Most likely, there will not be any changes to the event tonight. It's getting kind of late for me and I've already been working on this all day. I will try and get the important adjustments implemented tomorrow.
Thanks again for all of your patience and understanding. =)

Question, would the difficulty toggle affect just the zone event or the zone as a whole? Just wondering so I'll remember if I have to turn it on or off for my boss runs

It would be the entire zone with how I'm thinking of coding it. There would basically be 3 difficulty options:
Difficulty 3: Vexxar level difficulty with max boosted rewards
Difficulty 2: Lost Grove level difficulty with boosted rewards
Difficulty 1: Pre-Lost Grove difficulty with default rewards
Players would have the option to set the difficulty when entering / spawning the zone. If they want to change the difficulty, they'd have to exit the zone and switch it.

Not to be difficult, but this made me curious what Lost Grove difficulty/reward would mean vs Vexxar level difficulty/reward? Mostly because I feel like entry to the LG vs Vexxar is a much larger gap than the start of the game to entering the LG.
(To ground my question in what is likely too much contextual information you don't actually need heh)
Experientially I feel like there was a reasonably smooth curve up until the LG which was more of (at least for near the base camp) more of a Big Step Up in power than a proper spike, and that from the point of entering the LG progression the game became more a series of smaller/bigger steps up at various points requiring more investment into learning mechanics/higher stat pets and gear and I think this creates a situation where there is likely a bigger difference in the difficulty being faced by someone in the very first parts of the LG vs beating the Worm vs working one's way through the temple and the gear grind there and I am assuming (as I haven't actually gotten through the temple bits yet) vs Prepping to and overcoming Vexxar (and turning that to a weekly run or w/e).
