Yeah, it's a real fun way to really look forward to the holiday. And the one I had was made by my great-grandmother so it was just like waking up to a morning of love, happiness, and anticipation. lol

I had an advent calender when I was little. I usually got those mini smackers lip balms, bonbon mini nail polishes or jewelry. I loved it. I will definitely have an advent calender when I have a kid,

My household has about five advent calendars scattered about. It's really rushed getting up in the morning and hanging the little ornament on the tree. I always try to put the star in the twenty fourth spot. Little traditions! Speaking of which, I should really put today's ornament on that one on my wall . . .
