I am going to try to save the post after every photo in case Photobucket acts up. And if you click on the images, it should take you to the clicked image in my Photobucket album where you can click the magnifying glass icon to see the image full size. ^_^ If an image is smaller than the width of the post, then that's as big as it gets. Sorry for the quality of the photos; I had to use my webcam... It was very difficult to get the shots to line up to make sure everything was in the photo. #o_o# I had to black out some parts of some of the photos to protect potential PII, so if you see random black spots, that's what that is. But cropping, blacking out, and marking are the only things I've done to the photos.

Lantana flower cluster. The outside flowers in the cluster are the pink ones; the inner ones are yellow.

I thought a more visible web would be optimal for photos. :D

3. Find a bee or a butterfly on a flower.

The bee on a big Magnolia flower.

Circled the bee so you knew where it was. It flew away when I tried to get my computer closer for a better photo.

The second photo of the same flower with my name and date papers. Bee wouldn't stay for another photo though. :p xD But at least I could get my laptop close enough for the webcam to focus on whites.

4. Find a wild animal.

:3 Isopod. If you're having trouble finding it in the image, it's in that opening between my tags.

This is the flower cluster of the plant since the edible part is underground and we weren't supposed to disturb it. xD Though the stalk can be eaten; I don't know about the leaves or flowers...

Hopefully you can see the different colors in the photo. The thin outside layer is a pinkish brown, the inside is a slightly transparent dark grey, and there's a spot of a different kind of mineral on the inside that is a lightish tan.

I tried to show where the colors were in this image in case you have trouble seeing them. The red is the pinkish brown, the blue is the slightly transparent dark grey, and the green is the lightish tan. The little spot of green is a little covered by the dark grey, but still a little visible...

9. Find a flowering tree.

Mimosa. Hopefully you can tell it's a tree, or at least know that Mimosas are trees. :D

Circled the flower bunches in case they are too light and fluffy to be easily seen. ^D^

This tree trunk has some neat striping, but I don't know if you can see it well in these images because the stripes are similar shades of grey... Here are several angles and lightnesses so that you can maybe see it good enough.

The reflections are showing rainbows onto the rock. ^_^ Maybe I'll be the only one with rainbows at night. ^D^ They are faint but there as visibly as a day rainbow would have been, but I will mark a few of them in case you need help finding them. ^_^ Night rainbows might be my new favorite thing. ^w^

Once I started looking for them I realized that this garden wall was pretty much covered in webs. It was a bit creepy, to be honest.

24. Find something with stripes on it. (Additional picture with name tag included) - Hyalophora cecropia silk moth - The largest native species of moth found in North America. I don't know if you can tell by looking at the picture, but it's HUGE. The stripes can be seen on the body of the moth. These guys love to hang out on my front porch, but this guy is by far the largest specimen I have seen to date.
