Hey, this reminds me of "Talk Like a Pirate Day." We could have "Talk Like a Bandit Day," if we can just figure out one thing: how do Nightfall Bandits talk?

Any ideas?

Also, someone in, I think it was Vibrant Vorpas!, proposed that we players should create a do-it-yourself 2016 Summer Festival. Maybe combine all these ideas and have Nightfall Summer Festival?

I like the idea of combining Nightfall Day and a user-run Summer Fest. We could call it... Midsummer Night's Fest! :D

And if we're doing a whole fest, maybe there could be more than one day with basic/newbie items. Like, each day (or two days, w/e) would be a different thing. There's Nightfall Bandit items, Army of the Undead items, Vorkid items, Myconid items, Woodsman items, Oracle items, and the stuff you can buy from vendors in the zones.

There could be contests, games, and giveaways, too. I don't know how we'd go about doing our own "themed" pets for each species, but maybe there could be a design contest or something?

Oh, I have an idea! What if we had users pick factions and whichever faction wins gets to decide something or gets awarded a mass prize? I mean, I don't know what it'd be, but it sounds fun lol.

Well, "Themed" could be project pets or Purebreds from last Summer Festival's Themes. For example, I have a few "Star Crossed Qitaries" and several PB Anthias Lunemaras with at least four trait points.

And I like the idea of factions. We could also have a Nuturing contest. Basically, take a screenshot of your Profile page showing the Scales you have, and at the end of the contest, take a second screenshot. The player who earned the most Scales wins.

I have a handful of Regular Essences and some Avatar items from last year's Summer Festival that I could use for prizes. Also some drops from various raids. Anybody else?

Also we could do a just for fun frankin pet and possibly pet pick a doors

Telos volunteered to sport the bandit-color-makeover I posted earlier, and he looks smashingly good in it.

This is a GREAT idea, but it sounds like it will require a ton of organisation. I'm interested in participating, but I'm afraid I don't have the time to invest in helping with planning or execution. =/

I'd be happy to join in! I can donate a few regular essences and newbie avvie items.

As we're talking Nightfall Bandits, perhaps there's no need for a new theme. The bandits could be "stealing" older themes. Perhaps they'd hold a theme from each Sylesti to "ransom" and offspring from those pets could be then be "kidnapped". (Or sold for 1g)

I like SparklingGanymede's idea of the factions. The winning faction could have a "themed" pet made?

Imp, since this is your thread, perhaps you would create a copy/paste ping list of everyone who has expressed interest in this so far and put it in the thread's first post? It would make it easier for us to all keep in contact.

To everyone: it might be easier to just have each person pledge to create one or more games that they will run on the selected week. We can bounce ideas off each other here, especially when it comes to helping each other keep with the Nightfall Bandit Summer theme.

And I really like the idea that Nightfall Bandits are stealing pets of previous Summer Festival Themes! I was gonna volunteer to run my "Sylestia Go!" game during the Nightfall Bandit Festival (OK, it's really more like a "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?" but with Sylesties), for example. I can change it to where Nightfall Bandits have stolen the pets that are the prizes and stashed them here and there. Of course, Tyrielle the Greedy will have stolen the most valuable pet!

We should have like a design contest for the Nightfall Pets. Then, everyone can just vote on there fav design for each species. (And yeah, we need a ping list.)
