This is based off where I live. During the summer It doesn't get very hot, and we don't have huge sandy beaches. What we do have are lots of forests. During the spring it stays cold so the trees don't have all their leaves until may or even june.

The Japanese summer festival is just around the corner. Fireworks, yukatas and bright paper lanterns everywhere. Your favorite stall is the goldfish catching booth where you spend hours trying to catch a goldfish with a little paper fan. You've finally caught your first one and are about to put it in a little plastic bag to take home when a smooth voice winds through the air. "Return my child to the pond and I shall grant one wish to reward your kindness"

Dumbstruck you slowly lower your lantern and see .....a summer festival fairy!

You heard a little giggle when walking near a field that many colorful and beautiful butterflies are playing...when you see a young girl with pink hair that seems to be moving, with flowers floating around and a staff. She spots you and her eyes go wide with shock and worry because you ain't suppose to see her...for she is the Butterfly Princess, Nova, who only comes out when it is near the end of Summer.

I am a nymph, in a greenhouse,
arms overgrown by pink orchids;
my lover has hidden me away from the world.
Little spritlings keep me company,
nipping the orchids which cover my arms.
I dream of the forest, the babbling brook, and
the laughter of rain; for when the day comes
of winter, the smiling warmth of this summer nymph
will have to sleep again.

I always loved summer nights, not just because its cooler, but fireworks and fun times for me happen at night!

My inspiration for this design was that I went to England before School started for a week and saw the Queen of England, hence the crown. The rest of the outfit was really all about matching, and I absolutely love the way it came out!

Ah summer. The time I get to be wild and crazy! Where I can ignore the fact that I'm past my second decade (only just!) *s******* and just spend my time in the ocean. Surfing. Drowning. Whatever I feel like that day. Or I book it to Hawaii, crash at my cousins' and surf. Suuuurrrfff. Yeah, I like surfing lol. But yes... this is now my dream outfit *sigh*. It's rather wild and carefree! And has all the summer colors I love.

This is a goddess of begginings and endings. She symbolizes Dawn and Dusk. Her season is summer because, to me Summer is a beginning and an ending. It symbolizes the end of school, but also the start of school. The end of one year, and the start of another.
