So, does that mean those with bone armor (m1) will be regenerable since it looks like that trait is being split into skeletal armor (m1) and skeletal helm (m2)?

Not unless it's paired with essence of flames :) flames are moved to m1 and they can't share a slot on the same pet

Well, any pet with essence of flame will be regenerable since it is being moved and split (m3 to m1 and m2)

To clarify, what I'd like to know is if bone armor is going to be regenerable or is it going to switch to skeletal armor and lose the head piece?

Well from past revamps, if I'm right, you'll get either the helm or armor depending on which mut it was originally in.
