Song of Embers
Backstory: Song fittingly enjoyed singing in caves of an echoing volcano ever since she was a hatchling. She has always had a surprisingly melodious roar, something that is not commonly heard. Long ago she had a male companion, but he was taken away by sylestian hunters. Since then she has sang to keep herself somewhat company, to feel as though the silence can be broken.

Occupations: Live entertainment in the stables, enjoys reading, longs to try swimming but can't chance extinguishing her flames.
Likes: Rivers, music, headphones, campfires, roasting marshmallows.
Dislikes: Hard metal music, falling trees, rain, the silver linings saying.

Prince Firetalon
Backstory: His trainer found his egg under a lot of rocks and dust not long after it had been laid. She took it in and raised the hatchling among her other dragons, with great care. It was many years later when they discovered he was from a long rein of 'vene royalty high in the mountains, and was a young price. However, he did not wish to leave his home that had adopted him. He has taken up a very leader-like role, however.

Dislikes: Winter, ocean trenches, avalanches.

Commercial Honeywell

Backstory: Honey was born and raised in the stables of her trainer, and has an unconditional love for books. She arranges all her trainers books in a library she has built in a cave that connects to the stables. Her ice shards glow brightly in that dark room, making reading quite easy for her. She is quite mature and sophisticated.

Gender: Female
Occupations: Reading, organizing, and keeping the library tidy.
Likes: Rubbing her ice shards against stone to keep them sharp.
Dislikes: Fire, violence, impatience.

Core Magma
Backstory: This trickster admires anyone who can pull a good prank. He came from a witch's forest breathing a fire that would appear hot and to be burning, but really cause no damage. He learned a lot of enchantment spells from the witch that he could use to enhance his flames. When he found the trainer, she outsmarted him, and managed to catch him. Now they use his pranks to outsmart any enemy invaders.

Occupations: Tricking outsiders and turning them away from the direction of the stables.
Likes: Mystery movies, detectives, Halloween, murky darkness.
Dislikes: His pranks being solved and/or evaded.

Smooch
Backstory: Smooch has always hated her name, she has ignored romance entirely because of how much she gets teased. She more so likes to experiment with what she can do with food. She often prepares all the stable meals, roasting, grilling, charring, and smoking with her fire. She has learned every plant in the forest, and which is good to eat with what meats.

Gender: Female
Occupations: Cooking, studying.
Likes: Spices, herbs, clay pots, a good meal.
Dislikes: Romance, compliments, sugar coating words, staring.

Hawkwing
Backstory: Hawk came from the sandy lands of the dessert, snatching hares and vermin form the dusty soil and eating them whole in midflight. He is very talented with controlling his gliding skills in harsh winds and sandstorms, and has fashioned some armor from his prized kills to keep him protected from tumbleweed and anything that may have been picked up by the sandstorms and swept into him. When Hawk saw the traveling trainer, he was curious about her battle armor. He saw how the other 'venes were unique in the ways of their attire, and decided to follow along in hopes of advancing in his skill.

Occupations: Armor and weaponry tailor.
Likes: Strong materials, learning new things, jumping from behind corners and spooking people.
Dislikes: People hearing him in flight, blending in, paper.

Dawn
Backstory: When she was just an eggling, she was very laid back. Deep in a volcanic cavern her parents watched her shell crumble. Dawn was asleep, curled up on the rock. Her parents were filled with grief, as her skeleton had grown bulky and formed an exoskeleton-like armor on her outer scales. They left her peacefully where she lay, thinking she never fully grew and was dead. When Dawn woke, alone in the dark, she cried for someone to help. She was found by the trainer who took her under her wing and introduced her to one of the 'vene who had lost her child.

Occupations: Frolicking in tall grass whenever there is some.
Likes: Beetles and bugs with shells, summersaults, daydreaming.
Dislikes: Her reflection, books, skeletons.

Shyflame
Background: Shy has always been a part of the trainer's army. She takes pride in her ability to sense when a natural disaster is coming. Earthquakes, landslides, storms, she can smell and feel them long before they arrive. With this gift she has taken on a very caring, motherly nature and does her best to keep everyone safe and sheltered.

Occupations: Fishing, mostly.
Likes: Star charts, igloos, books, maps, wind.
Dislikes: Total darkness, total silence, grim facial expressions.
